3.5/10We waited around 45’ to get the starters (9 bruschette) and after another 30’ for the first course. Restaurant wasn’t fully booked. I understand you may have an unexpected issue, but no one went to us to explain anything about the long wait. Food was ok. At the end, after we paid no one come to us to apologize for the more than 2 hours of service for 9 starters and 9 first course (we cancelled a second course, and didn’t ordered any dessert or coffee as we our patient was over). In the end a complain with the principal and he demonstrates that he doesn’t care about customers (I guess he thought we were tourist while we’re resident even if we’re not Italian). I’d not recommend the restaurant for the service, the food was not exceptional but don’t deserve any especial compliment (well the pasta was not properly cooked and this is not acceptable in Italy, we send it back and new dish was bit better but again not ok)

Uno che arriva alle 14:12, gli si dice "mettiamo una tovaglia e il tavolo è pronto" e risponde "ma avevamo prenotato alle 14:00", beh... i problemi non li ha trovati al ristorante, ma se li è portati da casa! In Italia la pasta è "al dente", voi scrivete di non essere turisti, ma siete spagnoli e se vi piace stracotta io ve la faccio bollire anche mezz'ora, ma per favore non venite a insegnarmi a cuocere un piatto di orecchiette. ...se vi poneste il problema di considerare quanta dedizione riponiamo nel nostro lavoro e quanto curiamo il cliente e ogni sua necessità, ci pensereste due volte prima di scaricare su di noi le Vostre frustrazioni...

10/10Lovely seating area outside on a quiet, beautiful, narrow street. We hadn’t realised there was no meat on the menu. We both had lasagna and said it was the best lasagna we had ever had. Waiter was extremely polite and attentive.

We had a glass of wine with the black bean lasagna and vegetable pie with house salad, stiff water, and bread. Only regrets was that all the food came at once; including the salad. Oft the beaten path little hideaway with delicious offerings.

10/10Whether you are a vegetarian or not, this restaurant offers truly unique and excellent food. The food is freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The risotto is sublime, and the lasagna is an inspiration -- black cabbage lasagna for example. And the dolce topped off the menu. Highly recommend this gem in Como.

Really recommend this restaurant!! Food was beautiful; great dairy-free choice!! Staff were so polite. The food was fairly priced and I can say it’d one of the best meals I’ve had in Italy! We both ordered the spinach, tofu and cashew lasagne for mains, house white wine, bottle of water and shared a slice of apple and hazelnut cake😋

10/10We were intrigued by the menu and concept since we try to keep to our sustainable living while traveling. This restaurant far exceeded our expectations in food, service, ambience and more! The menu was creative and full of flavour. In addition, the wines were chosen with care. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the smallest of details (including essential oils and cloth towels in the toilet) really stood out. I highly reccommend Il Lughino and will be telling my friends about it when they visit Como!

10/10They were busy and service was slightly slower than one would hope for - we enjoyed our excellent quality for price bottle of wine while waiting for the mains. Great taste and texture of wheat pasta and soy bolognese. Would revisit and recommend.

9/10IT was good in a nice atmosphere With great service Vegetarrian food was surprising Only the scalopine was something we have to adjust to fully like it being meat lovers. But compliments to kitchen and variety products and sauces.
