We went to Il Lughino, come Natura Insegna for lunch. This is a place with a very high degree of professionalism and they have paid attention to every detail, including the reception, decor, the way the menu is presented, and service. We had the broccoli lasagna and the fennel lasagna with their paired glasses of wine. Both our dishes were divine. We also very much enjoyed the two kinds of home-baked bread served with our food and ended our meal with the delicious tiramisu. Therefore, we give our highest recommendations.

Il Lughino, come Natura Insegna (Viale Solferino)Esaminato il menù, Lei ha serenamente ordinato una bruschetta, una lasagna al cavolo cappuccio e zafferano, ravioli con spinaci e topinambur in salsa allo sbologno, una bottiglia intera di Nero d’Avola. Riceve e mangia tutta la bruschetta. Riceve e mangia la lasagna, fino a quando entrano due persone che chiedono se il ristorante serve cibo vegano. Avendo scelto un tavolo accanto all’ingresso, sente che rispondo "tutto in questo ristorante è vegano”. Da quell’istante smette di lmangiare la lasagna. Ne avanza metà, dice “non fa per me” e aggiunge “questo è un ristorante vegetariano?” Le vengono serviti i ravioli, fatti in casa freschissimi, che ogni cliente divora facendo tantissimi complimenti. Lei si limita a tagliarne uno malamente e a infilare sotto a tutti gli altri le posate, per far capire che non li mangerà. Chiede il conto e se ne va arrabbiato; forse con se stesso? We visited Il Linghino in August, which may not be the ideal time to enjoy it at its very best. Still, we had a lovely evening—the food was tasty, with several dishes we really enjoyed, and the atmosphere was charming. Service was relaxed and unhurried, giving us time to savor the meal, and the setting felt authentically local. It was a warm night and a few mosquitos joined us, but that’s summer in Milan. I’d happily return, especially at another time of year, to explore more of the menu.

My family had never been to a totally vegan restaurant previously. The food and service by Carlos was excellent. The menu was interesting and Carlos did a great job explaining the menu items. We were all very pleased with our food and wine choices. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Our meal was superb and the service was even better. My boyfriend is not a vegan and he loved his meal just as much as I did. Will be back :-)
