The restaurant and staff were superb! They were able to accommodate us 30 minutes before our (late) reservation and served us 2 amazing meals. My ribeye was one of the best I ever had and my wife loved her pasta dish. A bottle of Chianti and a side dish along with the mains were less than 100. Euro. Would highly recommend this establishment!

Freshness and quality of the food is at the highest possible level. The trappings of this restaurant are very rustic, but don’t let that fool you. This is a first class eatery. If meat is what your looking for you won’t find it any better or tastier than at Il Maialetto. The price points are very good as well and they have a substantial wine list.

This was our first visit to this restaurant as we were staying in the area it was a good opportunity. Atmosphere was great with many locals clearly being there as regulars. Food was great and seeing other eaters enjoying incredible looking steaks it is a place to return to on another visit. Wine selection was good and service was really welcoming and efficient and very knowledgeable

Very busy night and service was slow as lack of staff. The steak wasn’t good as the meat was hard and all four of us found it hard going with difficult chewing. The pork ribs were good and so was the dessert. I don’t think this place is worth being Michelin recommended.
