4.5/10Service was awful...waiter kept forgeting things we asked. So much that we gave up on wine and just had a water for drink. Also had to asked to different people for the bill. Food was not tasty. I ordered a pasta that was one of the worse I had in Italy. My husband order a fish and chips not tasty at all. Very disapointing for a regular Italian restaurant. Didn't understand why Michelin recommeded it.

10/10Amazing restaurant, with such a great atmosphere. Wonderful Musicians and waiters and the most important : delicious italian food. All of that for a really correct price, around 35euros per person

6.5/10The restaurant was empty, but they sat me at the most uncomfortable table. I had to literally get up from the table to talk to the waiter, who for some reason was always behind me. I had to wait 40 minutes for the bill! When I left, they didn't say goodbye. Disgusting, disgusting service, I really regret wasting my time on them. The worst restaurant in Italy

10/10A really delicious meal in a lovely restaurant. It doesn’t look anything special from outside but once in it was great. Lots of amazing food, delicious cocktails and the staff were happy to advise us on drinks from the area and foods to try. The best thing for me was the food , as there were dishes I had never tried before and that for me just makes a little bit more special. Very well priced too.

6/10Pasta was not cooked on black squid ink. Veal with Tuna was not good felt like salty canned tuna No one came back to check on us when food was served we had to ask for refills on water and drinks. Multiple times. Could have been better considering it’s a Michelin restaurant.

9.5/10We came here based off of the recommendation from the Michelin Guide in the hopes that this would make a special night out for our anniversary. The food and drinks were amazing, but based on the other reviews we saw, we had a really “off” night of service. We tried to get the attention of our waiter for over half an hour while we were eating (and through when we had finished) our meal so we could order more beverages, to no avail. This is after we told him we wanted to order more drinks after he dropped the food off, but we needed a minute to decide, so he said he would be back shortly. We weren’t sure if the waiting would continue if we stayed longer, and my wife was very thirsty for water, so when we finally got the attention of our waiter when we finished our meal, we asked for the bill. The waiter and the host were surprised that we wanted to leave “so soon”. We’d love to try this place again but aren’t sure what was up with the service for us this night. Maybe another day!

5.5/10Food was fine - service was substandard. Angry server started the meal and was replaced by someone mid-meal that was better. This restaurant appears to book entire busloads of tourists at 7pm. Not ideal for a pleasant dining experience in Milan.

10/10We had a wonderful romantic fun evening at Il Marchese Milano. Started at the bar where Tony created amazing cocktails with such care - they were art. We eventually moved to our table and our server was very accommodating for us to share salad and pasta. A late add of some wine - no problem. A wonderful recommendation. Very cool ambiance - classy decor and DJ playing tunes accompanied by a live trumpet player. Highly recommend.

9.5/10Carbonara was excellent. Cost was average. Ambiance was wonderful: jazz and big band music and a romantic, stylish atmosphere. The staff were all lovely but I was there during shift change and wasn’t sure who was my point of contact for some of the meal. Very close to the Teatro alla Stalla if you are seeing a show, and is open in the afternoon unlike many restaurants in the area. Highly recommend.

6/10The service and ambience was excellent, but unfortunately the food was really bad. My pasta was cold and tasted like instant mac and cheese. My husband’s pasta was overwhelmingly fishy (and not in a good way). The octopus tasted very strange and just wasn’t tasty. It’s a real shame because the interior of the restaurant is beautiful and it would be a lovely place to have dinner if the food was actually good.

8.5/10The food was incredible. So many great options on the menu. Cocktails were amazing too. The atmosphere was lovely and the live music was beautiful to listen to. However, there were a number of staff members who seemed to be chatting and sniggering about my two friends and I. We were a group of three girls and we felt that they were consistently talking and laughing about us throughout this experience. We felt that we weren’t given the same amount of respect as other tables, this could’ve been due to our age (mid 20s). The staff weren’t as attentive as they should have been for the type of restaurant this is.

8.5/10My husband and I had dinner at Il Marchese Milano. Saw that it had live music performance, but unfortunately, there was none on the night of our visit. The reception lady said usually only on Friday and Saturday. Suggest its Facebook page or Instagram to show the live performance dates. Dishes were nicely presented and of generous portion. We especially love the beef tartare and risotto with squid. Duck breast was a bit disappointing. Pistachio tiramisu was delicious! Service was professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

9/10Food, drinks, ambiance were great! However, we had a problem with the restroom door that got stuck after several minutes waiting for someone to open the door they just apologized but did not offer anything as compensation for the bad experience!

4.5/10The meals we had were not special at all. They were not delicious. Meals in average, mediocre restaurant are much more delicious than what we had at this restaurant. We are very surprised that this restaurant is in Michelin. The only thing that is good is the staff service. I would not recommend this restaurant.

7/10The food was very very disappointing. I took my parents as a birthday gift and I was embarrassed. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the service was impeccable, but none of this can make up for food that is sub par. My carbonara was the saltiest dish I have ever tasted, it lacked any other flavour and the rigatoni was undercooked, not al dente. The crab ravioli was ok but nothing amazing. My mother had the Milanese Amberjack which turned out to be a very thin fillet and was crumbed!!! This made a beautiful fish taste like cheap frozen fish fingers. The artichoke salad with it was barely edible as it used the extremely tough outer leaves. My pumpkin main was the most bizarre dish I have ever eaten. It seemed to be a boiled pumpkin wedge (not even roasted) on a bed of flavourless carrot purée with Gorgonzola foam. It tasted awful and made me think that the chef doesn’t understand what makes a good vegetarian dish (I am not vegetarian but I often enjoy vegetarian dishes so I made the mistake of ordering this). I am so disappointed with the experience.

6/10The interior (and exterior) of the restaurant is beautiful. The stuff is kind and helpful. The wine list extensive and nice. However the food is disappointing. The carbonara was so salty that after a point was not edible anymore. Every other dish was okay but the price point is too high for its quality. I would not recommend. With the same price you eat in equally beautiful and more tasty places in Milan!

10/10A hidden gem! This restaurant should be rated in the top 10 in Milan. This was our second time for a dinner and it was equally superb as the first time. The service is fantastic as is the food preparation. The owners really know what they are doing!

5.5/10While I was happy with the location and general ambiance of the restaurant, the service and food quality were pretty disappointing. The effulgence of the sunken bar and exquisite chandeliers were the highlights of the night, making our entry into the restaurant the most memorable part. After we were seated, the staff appeared to forgot us entirely. Wanting to be accommodating and cordial guests, our table waited patiently for the drinks, antipasti, and primi, but each required a flare to hail the attention of the staff. I’m understanding that it was an F1 weekend, but there was no racing to a client’s need—only to the finish line of the night. The citrus in the battuto di manzo was excessively acidic, but the gricia was well prepared. The subtle pecorino and savory guanciale sat simply and tastefully. I’m disappointed to say that the experience was largely all flash and little substance.
