9.5/10So nice to have a proper vegetarian meal with most choices without pasta...however good it is. The menu is extremely creative. Staff are well trained and helpful. The 25% discount with booking through Fork meant this was superb value for such a high quality setting and meal.

9.5/10Great place for a fancier meal right near Piazza del Popolo. We enjoyed the cocktails and pasta in particular. I appreciate that many dishes have a vegan option. The staff was very nice and attentive. The decor is a little odd- wasn't crazy about the artwork and the looping cute animal video was nice at first but then seemed a little silly after a while. Overall, a lovely restaurant and dining experience.

10/10The staff was super sweet and all were able to speak English (if you’re visiting Rome, no worries). The chef sent us a complimentary appetizer and dessert! Both were delicious. The cocktails were very well balanced and refreshing. I ordered the elderberry spritz a little nervous it would be too sweet, but not at all. My husband and I are both vegans from nyc and loved Il Margutta because they had elevated egan and veganizeable options. It was all ????????delicious!

10/10Super delicious vegetarian restaurant and art gallery, beautiful location. Creative recipes, light tasty healthy food. Very kind staff, live piano music added a pleasant atmosphere. I had the vegan menu everything just perfect. I can’t wait to come back.

8/10Nice to find a vegetarian restaurant that treats you and the food with respect. The only slight disappointment for my companion was their take on the tiramisu, made without alcohol, otherwise a very enjoyable meal

7.5/10very nice ambiance, lovely restaurant design + decor, friendly service. Food portions were pleasantly big, however food itself could have been better. Liked the spinach fritters, but the pumpkin risotto was too salty. and the leek dish was on the blander side. That being said, we did enjoy our meal due to the interior and service.

10/10Me and my wife celebrated our 7th anniversary at this restaurant. We had a 7 course vegan meal. And I must say WOW! Everything was so delicious and the personnel was extraordinary! Everything was perfect! Thank you!

2/10Table booked for 8:30, we were seated and watched the hectic staff running around and listened to the aggressive kitchen bell for half an hour. At 9 a waiter finally came to take our order, however, informed us that various dishes were not available anymore, those we wanted included. The whole situation and atmosphere were so tensed and not as you would expect in a restaurant, praising their haute cuisine, we decided to leave and have dinner in a close by very nice restaurant. Cannot recommend this place Il Margutta at all, unfortunately.

5/10The food was mínimal and have no taste at all. The sauce mushroom was disapointing and the basmati rice was not well cooked. The suposed marinated ginger was only an essence. Terrible

9.5/10Lovely vegetarian food - we went for my husband's birthday - would recommend whether or not you are a vegetarian or carnivore - go for the a la carte rather than the set menus if you can and try the sharing platter of starters - delicious!

6.5/10The overall disappointment in the evening was that on the restaurant's website, it was indicated there would be a VEGAN menu option and there WAS NOT. That was disappointing. At the restaurant, the SERVICE is what was lacking on Christmas Eve. 1. The hostess did not even accompany us to our table. She pointed to it. 2. We were never offered a bread basket. 3. One of the courses was completely forgotten, we had to ask the server about it. Overall, the SERVICE was very lacking. So sad. The food was OK...not spectacular at all, but OK.

8.5/10A lovely place for our last night in Rome. The spaghetti dish was so tasty, but we're still not sure what was in it. But dishes arrived a little too quickly without time to savour the one before. We have only rated it 'noisy' because there was a wedding party there on Saturday night. But we weren't sitting too close, so it didn't matter.

10/10It is not easy as a vegetarian to have a 6 course menu with well thought out and well composed dishes. But this is exactly what we got. The food was amazing and the service great. Highly recommended!!!

9/10We went there to celebrate our daughter's birthday and were not disappointed. Excellent vegetarian choices, great presentation and well prepared dishes. This was our second visit. The service though was inordinately slow this time around - it looked as if they were short staffed and the server was very harried. The dishes took a really long time to arrive and it took almost 15-20 minutes after the first course was finished (ie we had eaten it) to getting the second course. The server was apologetic but no explanation was offered.

10/10The best vegan food that I ever had! Amazing ! Beautiful presentation , pretty Restsurant in a gorgeous location! And the drinks were very special also ! Was very busy so I recommend reservations !
