+3What an amazing and memorable meal! We were a party of three and as it was our first visit, we asked the chef (who served us personally) his recommendations. He suggested the tuna tartare, venison carpaccio and smoked salmon starters, followed by the steak, pork belly and chicken Kiev main dishes. We shared the raspberry trompe l’oeuil and crème brûlée desserts. Each dish was exceptional! It was the best meal we have eaten in Geneva and one of the best we have ever had anywhere. Truly exceptional in vison, preparation and presentation. We were blown away! We are already planning a return trip. The pizzas also looked and smelled amazing and I liked that the menu had such nice range. We saw families with little kids and couples on dates - it’s a place for everyone. Don’t hesitate - you’ll be delighted. We all were.

Great food and great service. Bare in mind that the menu for The Fork bookings are reduced compared to the usual one. But the choice is extensive and the atmosphere is great.

We had a lovely evening at Il Marinaio. Food was superb and the ambiance was very nice. We tried the steak, the seafood and the truffle pasta and they were all very good and the portions were generous too. We will come back for sure.

Excellent food! The only down side was we waited maybe almost an hour for our food to be served.

The restaurant re-opened 3 weeks ago with a new chief, new team, fresh design and a new menu, amazing experience! Make sure to leave room for the dessert ;)

It is a very beautiful restaurant, very cozy and enchanting, and the green terrace is a plus. I would highly recommend it for a chill evening. The wine: excellent, the beef steak delicious. The potatoes some of the best I ever had. The service was a bit slow (it was also a busy night) and the deserts we tried could be improved (pavlova and the creme brulee) which were good, but nothing spectacular. The waiters super nice. All in all I would highly recommend giving it a try.
