Our server was excellent, informative and attentive, and very kind. The view of the Val d’orcia made the occasion extra special, and the food was excellent!

Beautiful location in the Tuscan hills, top-notch food and service. Excellent Risotto and a very original and beautiful execution of Tiramisu; you might NOT want to share it with anyone :) The sunset view is exquisite. The only suggestion we have is to pay more attention to the overhead lighting on the terrace following sunset; it was too bright and somewhat tainted the ambiance for us, although it's possible other guests wouldn't notice or care. Table lighting (candle) and muting the overhead lights are easy fixes.

We had a fanastic experience at Il Passagio today for Easter lunch. We wanted a special place to celebrate this trip with our daughter and this place delivered. The food was outstanding, the service amazing and despite only having 2 in our reservation by accident, they accommodated us and allowed up to add a third to our table. We felt very pampered and thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

This restaurant was one of the top restaurants without Michelin star I ever visited. The quality of foods were so good, quantity was moderate, and combination of various ingredients were perfect. We were surprised about its high level. I strongly recommend to all people visiting Montalcino to go to this restaurant.

We had a delicious meal. Every dish was creative yet using the freshest ingredients and prepared in the Tuscan style.

The experience in general was good. The chianina tartare, the risotto and the tiramisu made our dinner. Exquisite! As for the wine we drank a Capanna Reserve 2016 that was excellent but I found the restaurant mark up rather high to be in property. An open wine list impress me and I congratulate them for that

Fantastic lunch with amazing view to Siena. Pasta and sea bass were cooked to perfection. We would love to return and stay at the resort and have many more meals here. Just be aware if you are coming from certain direction (eg Castiglion del Bosco), Google Maps will take you on dirt roads, which turned out to be quite scenic.

Difficult to find (no signs...anywhere!), but well worth it once there, beautiful food, wine, views and extremely accommodating team. A fantastic meal in exceptional surroundings.
