9.5/10Dishes were great, the card is quite classic but perfectly cooked by the chef, I appreciated the service too, the guy who served us was very caring. This restaurant is located in a tiny and charming roman street, but it's a pity that further cars (especially cabs) are passing by it.

10/10After eating at various highly recommended, high-end places in Rome we were ready for something simpler and more traditional. This place delivered: The service is excellent and very attentive. The menu has items that I could recognize from growing up in Italy, and the food is absolutely delicious, while unpretentious and fuss-free. The portions are sized in way that allows you to order a couple of different things, just like a dinner is meant to be. We came here twice in a row and would go back anytime if we had more time in Rome.

10/10I arrived with my little dog and they were extremely accommodating, asked her name and gave her a bowl of water - so we were off to a good start. Very friendly and professional service . Suggestion of wine - delicious and was the food. I went fully seafood - carpaccio of prawns and sword fish steak - both amazing. Delicious olive oil and Roman bread with the thick dark crusts . I have been in Rome 6 months and this is a great addition to my favourite Resturants - we will be back

10/10The food —spaghetti vongole and salad with garlic and anchovy dressing — was delicious. The servers were charming and fun. The ambience was great on a quiet .tuesday lunchtime. There was a mix of locals and tourists and all appeared to be enjoying Piccolo Vicolo.

10/10An unforgettable dining experience! We had an absolutely fantastic meal in a beautiful setting. Booking online for a later reservation was easy, and we were seated right away. Our waiter, Giovanni, was outstanding—warm, passionate, and attentive from start to finish. He truly made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout the evening. The food was exceptional across the board—fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. We especially loved the carbonara, Bolognese, gnocchi with pesto, and the perfectly grilled lamb. If you're staying nearby, this place is a must-visit. An unforgettable dining experience!

9/10Perfect service from very friendly personnel, tried very hard on English. Food was great, only the desert was a little less (standard). Nice bottle of rose wine. At the end interesting gesture with sugar in alcohol that was burned. Location was great. Good experience.

10/10From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such friendliness and felt welcomed. The aeperol spritz was great, our cheese and salumi starter was delicious and we had a seafood risotto and a seafood spaghetti which melted in our mouths. We absolutely loved it and the staff were so attentive. it is now one of my favourite restaurants in Rome.

10/10Super friendly and welcoming staff and a lovely menu--nothing extraordinarily creative or unique, but reliably delicious classics at reasonable prices. We came here twice during our trip because the energetic ambiance was fun for our teens and we didn't feel like we were intruding on anyone else's quiet date. An excellent option in a city where you can easily steer into traps. Great wine!

10/10Giovanni, the waiter, was extraordinary! He was attentive, entertaining and extremely professional. The food was excellent. Even the owner was involved in making sure everything was perfect. We have been to this restaurant before but each visit gets better and better.

We had a great dining experience and would highly recommend stopping in here for a meal. Had reservations for a weeknight at 5PM and our server was awesome. He was knowledgeable with the menu, wine, and very sweet with our toddler. All of the restaurant staff were sweet on our toddler. The food was delicious, I can't remember the names of everything we ordered, but we enjoyed it all.

7/10Started out nice, with welcoming atmosphere… Food was excellent but they brought us the wrong food at first. When I told them it wasn’t ours, the waiter said he had to talk to his colleague??? … no apology, no friendly attitude… just not happy. Food finally came out, was excellent, but no one ever came back to ask if we wanted ANYTHING else… so we had no dolce, no other drinks, etc. The service was a big turnoff… probably will not go back even though the food was perfect… wish we could have tried more, but never got the opportunity

10/10We were so glad we chose Piccolo Vicolo for dinner our first night in Rome. I had the octopus -polpo in cannolo di pasta fillo, crema di burata e pesto di rucola, and my wife had seafood pasta. Both were excellent and large servings. The wait staff was very welcoming. We ended up coming back the next day for lunch to try the insalada di mare—excellent and overflowing with mussels, clams, calamari, shrimp, and my wife had pasta with zucchini flowers, guanciale and pecorino, also excellent. We also tried the delicious fried artichokes because we had seen them served at a neighboring table the night before. Highly recommend Piccolo Vicolo!

Aside from the delicious food, we enjoyed sitting outside. The service was excellent too. No complaints at all. In fact, in a sea of amazing food, Piccolo Vicolo is a definite return for us. We went there twice on our 12 day Roman holiday.
