10/10We were so glad we chose Piccolo Vicolo for dinner our first night in Rome. I had the octopus -polpo in cannolo di pasta fillo, crema di burata e pesto di rucola, and my wife had seafood pasta. Both were excellent and large servings. The wait staff was very welcoming. We ended up coming back the next day for lunch to try the insalada di mare—excellent and overflowing with mussels, clams, calamari, shrimp, and my wife had pasta with zucchini flowers, guanciale and pecorino, also excellent. We also tried the delicious fried artichokes because we had seen them served at a neighboring table the night before. Highly recommend Piccolo Vicolo!

10/10We found this restaurant in April of 2024 and came back in October because it was so wonderful. Always exceeds expectations. Giovanni is an amazing waiter. All staff very attentive.

10/10Aside from the delicious food, we enjoyed sitting outside. The service was excellent too. No complaints at all. In fact, in a sea of amazing food, Piccolo Vicolo is a definite return for us. We went there twice on our 12 day Roman holiday.

9.5/10We were staying at Hotel Smeraldo and made reservations for our last night in Rome. The entire meal was so good! I had Cacio e Pepe and my Husband had the Amatricaino. We loved them! Also each had a Tiramisu that was so good I will dream about it. Very welcoming staff and good service.

6.5/10This is a very atmospheric little restaurant with very friendly staff. They made us feel very welcome. But unfortunately the food was a bit disappointing. It arrived quite quickly once our order was taken (service was very relaxed=slow). The lasagne portion was very small and did not come with any bread or salad. The tagliatelle with mushrooms was literally that. Some olive oil and parsley but pretty bland and unexciting. I would have liked to be offered parmesan cheese but it didn't happen and they got busy so didn't come back to check our meals were okay at all. Sorry because the staff were so pleasant but they need to look at their food.

8.5/10The staff and especially our waitress were extremely friendly and efficient. Food was very good quality, just some of the things were not our taste, but this is not a fault of the restaurant at all. The only wish is for this restaurant to have a terrace, that would be huge advantage!

9.5/10Had lunch here on Sunday. Warm welcome from the proprietor- speaks a number of languages: English, French, Italian. Recommended a number to things: burrata as the owner is from Naples, artichoke, the rigatoni with ox tail and the bone marrow stew. The burrata was very good and the artichoke roast was the best I’ve ever had. The ox tail was good- it was an oz tail in a tomato sauce. The bone marrow was good- wasn’t what we were expecting - more of a stew with some ligamentous meat and small portion of bone marrow. The grilled veg was good. The prices for the bone marrow was rather steep. Good negroni’s. Service was good.
