The staff and vibe in this place is the definition of what i envisioned an Italian restaurant should be in Italy. Magnifico !

We had the most unique, delicate pumpkin appetizer in a gorgeous light cheese sauce. All the food was delicious. The staff were lovely and helpful and the view — thank you Mother Nature. Il Pino is a wonderful place to visit. We will be back.

From being picked up at our hotel by none less than the owner, all the way through to the return journey afterwards, we had the most memorable night at Il Pino. It has a very family run feel, which is great! The service was brilliant and not only efficient but full of laughs and chats. The food was outstanding! One of the best meals we had on our Amalfi leg. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more and we will certainly be back if we visit Praiano again.

Il Pino is an absolute gem of a restaurant. The owner, his father, and the wait staff create an intimate environment that makes you feel like part of the family. The view over the Mediterranean Sea and Positano is breathtaking. And the quality of the cocktails, wine, and food was exceptional. It was one of the very best restaurant experiences I’ve had in Italy!

This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in my life. The team works together, where one server took our order another brought our food and brought our check, it was nice to see. The highlight of our night was an older gentleman, who I would guess would be around 75 to 80 years old. He was seating guests, greeting guests, and even dancing with some of the patrons in the restaurant. He was incredibly enthusiastic and was singing Italian music throughout the whole restaurant. This was the most fun dinner we had on our trip to the Amalfi Coast.

The fact that they can pick you up and drive you back was a real plus. But the food and the view of the sunset and Positano was beyond anything we expected. Excellent!!! This is a family run restaurant and they all hustle to provide over the top service. And signing at the tables made it a fun experience as well. I highly recommend Il Pino.

Discount offered at time of reservation making via The Fork web site, was overlooked by restaurant and waiter. He claimed we need to mention discount prior to seating and before payment time. We had already paid our bill assuming discount was included. Realized only after. Very difficult to get credit back after paying. Could have been better handled by restaurant management. Balance of experience was excellent including food.

Ristorante IL Pino is a must-go restaurant in Praiano. It is a smaller family owned business with some wonderful views of the Praiano coast. Because of the size, there is energy from the staff and customers who seem to know what they are in for. The service was excellent with staff constantly roaming around. And of course the old guy mentioned in many reviews who is the Grandpa. He floats from one table to the next making sure everyone is having a great time, and enjoying their food. Our food was delicious and filling. They also had an excellent wine selection. Desserts were definitely satisfying. I do not know how my wife and I finished it all, though it was tasty.

Beautiful view for a sunset dinner! The starter was caprese three ways - three different mozzarellas, 3 varieties of tomatoes and 3 sauces. It was my favorite Caprese of our Italy trip. The pasta and lamb shank were both fine, not amazing. But the value is pretty good for the area and competing restaurants.

Octopus starter really good. Ordered two tuna pastas and were served Shrimp pasta - a bit light on the shrimps but the dishes were tasty, ordered two fish cannelloni dishes but the dishes weren’t very warm (plates not warmed) but again they were tasty enough - but nothing special. The tiramisu was ok but didn’t match up to the outstanding tiramisu tasted in Rome. Lively restaurant with a good atmosphere though - the best experienced in Praiano (though not the best meal)

delicious food, lovely staff but small indoor space and one of the owners burst into song, which whilst enjoyed by many, triggered some bad memories for me. but a good choice if in praiano.

The noise level was unacceptable. Terrible service; menu was different than website. The elderly man singing was more of a spectacle than a cool ambiance. The food was absolutely disappointing - this was food meant for unsophisticated tourists. The scam at the end of the ‘free shuttle’ was only to have people purchase something from the pottery shop across the road in order to have an immediate transfer, otherwise it was a wait of an undetermined time.

My family loved this place- the food, the service, the view- everything was outstanding! The owner arranges free transportation to/from your hotel. The waiters take such good care of you- and they sing too!! And the food- Al Bacio! 😘🤌🏻 I fell in love with this place- it was fantastic!

Lovely evening at Il Pino; the food was delicious, the service excellent and lovely overall ambience. The host is a real character and makes you feel welcome from the second you step inside. Getting a lift from the owners son to amd from our accommodati was a real highlight.

Food was unbelievable. Every course was delightful, flavoursome and presented well. The view is beautiful looking across the ocean and up to the mountains. Staff are both quirky and very warm and attentive. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. Definitely ask the team to recommend courses. All great choices A must for anyone in the area. We drove 40 minutes to experience this really highly rated restaurant. Awesome!!!! 5 start is an easy choice
