Tempted by the many positive reviews, we decided to have lunch at Il Pogio. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a big mistake. We ordered steaks, but no one asked us how we wanted them cooked. As a result, we were served almost raw meat – completely inedible. The “antipasto Toscana” was a total disaster as well: just a few very fatty slices of salami and lard, plus four tiny pieces of something that could hardly be called bruschetta. The tables are placed outside next to a hedge, but there was no protection against mosquitoes or wasps, which were everywhere. To make matters worse, the waiter who served us was very unfriendly – not even a single smile. I absolutely do not recommend this place. We paid €96, and it was money very badly spent

I piatti che avete ordinato sono tipici toscani e se fate una ricerca su internet vedrete che la carne in Toscana viene cotta poco e l'antipasto contiene 2 fette di prosciutto crudo, 2 fette di salame Toscano, 1 fetta di porchetta 1 di capocollo, 1 di lardo, 4 fette di formaggio pecorino e i famosi crostini tipici con i pomodori, i funghi e i fegatini di pollo, che NON sono bruschette. Non è il ristorante che non sa cucinare ma siete voi che non siete abituati ai nostri sapori. Un qualsiasi italiano non può venire nel vostro paese a criticare la vostra cucina tipica, può solo dire " A ME NON PIACE" sarebbe più educato e rispettoso per il lavoro altrui. Per quanto riguarda le zanzare e le vespe non è colpa di nessuno, siamo all'aperto e glia animali sono liberi. Mi dispiace e mi scuso se il cameriere è stato scortese

This place has been our go to pizzeria for the past 21 years. Their pizza’s are wonderfull and so is the host and her staff. The admosfere and panoramic views are beyond. I can recomend everyone in the area to stopby and enjoy this great experiance

Nice lunch with friends. Host was very kind and accommodating, We had vegetarian antipasto, pasta and mixed seafood fried, all well prepared and right quantity. Grateful for the dog friendly atmosphere.

Small local place on the hill side in Collemontanino with good local food and excellent service (also in english) at very affordable prices. Much more than pizza!
