10/10Incredible lunch alongside the canal with my husband! It was so peaceful and perfect, and the staff were just the most kind people. Made us feel right at home. Definitely try it!

7.5/10Wonderful setting to enjoy an evening meal. However it was ruined by a couple of very loud diners who where encouraged by the owner to get even louder. Food was ok but incredibly salty and €12 euros for an ice cream to me seemed very expensive even if it was homemade as claimed . The 2 men waiting tables though were very nice

10/10Wonderful food and an exceptional waiter. Took the time to explain the food and make some recommendations but was happy if we made our own choices too. The setting is in a small, quiet, piazza close to a canal and this made the experience even more special.

2/10Well, one star so that people can be aware of. The food quality was very good actually. But there are price traps. Oysters price technically not listed. They actually charge 9 euro a piece and 54 euro for half dozen. Everywhere else in restaurants near canal listed as 3 euro each. They got us. It’s not that a big deal for tourists. It feels like mis-trusted because the waiters/owners were super friendly but disappeared when they sent a kid to bring us the bill.

5.5/10Food was fine, nothing special but nothing bad. Service was the issue and only in terms of food delivery timings. Everyone was friendly and apologetic but, in a party of two, one person finishing their main before the other’s starter has been served is not good enough. Senior staff member was apologetic and gave us a complimentary gelato but, still, we left dissatisfied.

2/10Chose this restaurant because of the good ratings, turns out, that the servers are asking everyone to rate the restaurant five stars while they’re there. The food is horrible and mediocre at best. They messed up our order and then acted all weird when we pointed that out. All in all a unpleasant experience. We have been in Venice for three days and have never felt that way. There are plenty of restaurants in Venice that are worth visiting, just not this one.

9.5/10We had an amazing meal at Il Refolo! It was very busy and we made a late reservation. We shared a prosciutto and burrata appetizer. It was exceptional! My husband had the lasagne bolognese. It came baked in a round dish and was delicious! I had the baccala Manteca tan and polenta. It was outstanding! We already made a reservation to return. We love sitting by the dreamy canal. Thank you!

10/10Our second time at this lovely secluded spot. Right on a quiet canal. The food was impeccable and also good for families. There are amazing pastas and pizzas. Will be our go to spot in the future.

10/10We've been in Italy about 9 days, and although we've had some good meals, this may well have been the best. The spaghetti barusca and spaghetti frutti mare was just fabulous. We finished the evening off with tiramisu that was just as good as any around. A great evening!

7.5/10The pizza was good, the service was ok. It was not to busy. It was outside next to gondolas going by. All in all, a nice place to eat. Not too far from where we stayed at Nina's Bed & Breakfast where we stayed.

10/10Amazing restaurant by a side canal. You can see the gondolas going past which creates a beautiful ambience. Service was excellent and the waiter was very attentive to our needs. Food came in good time and tasted great. Loved the table set up and candles that were lit in the evening.

9/10The location of this restaurant is lovely, sitting outdoors was nice except for the heatwave. It would have been very good to provide fans for the outdoor seating. Also, it took a very long time for our food to arrive, which made us even more hot and exhausted The family next to us arrived after us, got and finished their food BEFORE our food was even served. The waiter could have provided more than a free limoncello at the end. Free bottles of water and an appetizer would have been much more appreciated if you forgot to place our order.

8/10Location is good, alongside a quiet canal. Food was good - had salads; fresh and tasty ingredients and the portions were generous. The service was also good, not exceptional but certainly friendly and efficient. Pricing for them offering seemed slightly Ed and also fair in the context of a generally expensive city.

5/10We have no idea how the food was. 20 minutes after we were seated we were able to get menus. The waiter did apologize, saying things were confusing. A full 20 minutes after that, we left, not having been waited on, even though 4 groups who arrived after we did had been served. We crossed the square to another restaurant which welcomed us even though we did not have reservations.

7.5/10The food and atmosphere was excellent! So was our waiter Alessandro! The place was very busy, however so our food took very long and came out in two separate times almost 30 minutes apart which wasn’t ideal. Other than that, we had an awesome meal!
