10/10The staff was simply amazing and joyful. The food was delicious. It was the perfect place to celebrate my 60th birthday in Positano. Bravo to everyone involved. ❤️

Lovely restaurant up on the hill. Service was great, really kind and fast. Food was superb, they give you a complementary entrance. Many choices. We went for dinner so we couldn't appreciate the views. Difficult to park.

10/10From the time I walked in until the time we left we had a great experience. The staff is very kind and professional some the best I’ve had so far in Italy. Everything was very fresh and delicious! Can’t recommend this restaurant enough! They also have the shuttle service that would pick you up from your hotel in Positano and take you home, a very nice bonus

Molto Bene! If you are passionate about the food and culture you need to eat here! We were really touched by the love that the family has for their restaurant. What a beautiful place! We will never forget this experience. Grazie mille Il Ritrovo!

8.5/10Very kind of the restaurant to offer shuttle service- otherwise would be impossible to get there without taxi as the road is steep and not safe to walk at night. The fish dishes were delicious. It's a very good restuarant and I recommend trying it!

10/10Just Wow! What a magical ending to a beautiful day. We made reservations for just after my daughter's wedding ceremony in Positano. The restaurant picked us up (a party of 11) and took us to their location, which was quite up the mountainside. The table was beautiful, as is the restaurant, and the food was fantastic! They made it a perfect end to a perfect day!

4/10I indicated my food allergy in the reservation, directly to the server and to two other servers, yet I was still served something I was allergic to. The server was kind enough to drive us back to our hotel so I could get digestive enzymes right away.

The pick up and drop off shuttle is perfect for visitors to Positano who don’t want to face the treacherous hairpin turns up to the restaurant. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. I asked our server for a wine recommendation and it was excellent. We had seafood for our appetizers and main course, all were fantastic. I would recommend this venue for lunch or dinner. The view in the evening is quite dark, as you would expect. I’m sure earlier in the day it would be phenomenal!

The best meal we had in Italy. Rest assured this worth the drive. Farm to table dining, at a good price. Extensive wine list and great service. If you did not have a car they will arrange complimentary shuttle service for you!

10/10Away from the crowds of Amalfi. A 20 minute local bus ride up to Montepertuso. We hiked to the Buco di Montepertuso before lu ch. Great service complimentary brushetta, cantaloupe/strawberry shots and cookies. What a treat!

The food, the atmosphere, the service. An absolute must if you come to Positano. Montepertuso is charming. We are so happy with our choice to stay up here and eat at Il Ritrovo! Fabulous fresh meal and busy restaurant. The stuffed squash blossoms were delectable! And the pasta cooked to perfection with sea urchin. Mama Mia what a meal!

Honestly we had the best time. The service was great, the ravioli was fantastic!! Honestly, if you were looking for a traditional family meal with with a great view and great food, this is your place. The chef and manager were amazing & honestly made our day!

10/10Most delicious food and excellent waiter. Wonderful people! The bus back to Positano was full but the waiter’s sister agreed to take us so we didn’t miss the ferry. Best experience on Amalfi Coast

10/10We had an amazing night at Il Ritrovo. The food was delicious, service was fast and friendly and there was a great atmosphere in the restaurant. Probably our favourite meal of the trip (and we had lots of good meals!).

10/10The food is delicious and the people, oh the people/family are incredible! You instantly fall in love with them, and honestly...want to go back over and over again. I can't explain how amazing they, the atmosphere and everything is. You just have to visit Il Ritrovo and fall in love for yourself. Simply amazing!!!

6.5/10The food was okay nothing spectacular. My wife had the Cod and she said it was too salty. I had the lamb and was anticipating rack of lamb chops but I think I got the shoulder not sure but it was not rack of lamb chops. Service was a bit slow but acceptable. Maybe other selections are better not sure. The lamb was okay. It was a long ride up a winding road via their shuttle to get there. With traffic it took alot longer then we anticipated. We also had to wait about 20 minutes for the ride back.

Thanks for the advice, the cod is tasty and not salty. I am the Chef and i don't add salt, the lamb is local and grazes outdoors in the mountains, sometimes many people are not used to the original flavours. Regarding transport unfortunatly you may have to wait a bit, the service is free and you cannot expect that as soon as you pay you want to return to the hotel. Thanks again.

Food was fabulous, but service was a mess. Put in a wine order and waited forever and ordered a second glass of wine and never received it. We were charged for items that were never ordered. Shuttle service was a plus.

9/10View is beautiful and service was fantastic. The food was very good, just not my favorite of our trip. We had a wonderful bottle of regional wine and the tiramisu was amazing! I would highly recommend this restaurant. Great food at a very fair price with a lovely view.

We felt a little overlooked. The service was prompt and food good, but we weren’t checked on, our bread was rushed away and we were made to feel like we had cluttered the tiny table that was provided to us, when the service staff needed to put the main in the centre of the table.

2/10Trapped at the restaurant. Flys everywhere. Food was very below average for Italy and definitely not worth a 20 min drive. They forgot ours drinks multiple times. Overall wouldn’t go back

10/10My family and I ate lunch at Il Ritrovo at the end of our Path of the Gods trek. We enjoyed the food so much we made a reservation for dinner there a few nights later. The atmosphere and food were excellent...one of our favorite meals of out trip. We would definitely come back on our next trip to the Amalfi coast.
