Host/server/front house manager handled an almost full restaurant with ease. As tourists, my wife and I appeared to be among regulars enjoying an evening out with family/friends/partners and someone waiting for take out. The place virtually filled up soon after we arrived and the host appeared to suggest to one couple that they come back in 15-20 minutes to give the kitchen time to catch up. They did, and were smoothly integrated. It looked like many came for pizza, but my highlight was a tasty octopus dish covered with pizza pasta. Service was welcoming, accommodating to we who speak only english and attentive without being bothersome, portions were generous and the host sent us off with the pleasant wish that this was our new home. When we called the next day to advise of an online booking error on my part that reserved a table the day after our visit, they were so understanding we considered returning despite only having 2 days in Rome in advance of a cruise. A hidden gem!

We visited from america, the host was very polite and laid back. A small intimate family run restaurant. the food was great but the owners are what really make it worth the trip.

We really enjoyed our appetizers and main dishes as recommended by the brothers. They were very attentive and just friendly. When back in Rome, we will go again.

Having spent a few days in the centre of Rome at very good restaurants and cafes... it was truly awesome to find a family run restaurant. The service from the Son was personal and friendly and the home cooked food from Mum and Dad in the kitchen was great. This place is not on the tourist trail but if you want real Italian home cooked food then this is the place ... and yes the Pizza pie is something to try.

Wonderfully engaging and friendly people. The six of us asked our servers to pick antipastas for us, and we were delighted with their choices. All of us enjoyed our respective entrees.

Unpretentious, family-run restaurant. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was amazing - particularly the gnocchi and risotto dishes. House red was delicious. Meant to save room for dessert but didn’t manage. Would definitely go back. Small number of tables. Reservations needed - they turned people away.

Concerned when we arrived because the place was empty and simply furnished and in the suburbs rather than in central Rome. Had we made the right choice for a meal with our friends from Canada who we hadn't seen for a couple of years? However, after a very friendly welcome from Miles we relaxed. The menu was interesting and the food nicely prepared and very tasty. The two boys at front of house were super-friendly, good fun and energetic. For a relaxed evening with friends, this proved to be a very good choice: friendly, tasty and excellent value.

We booked for our first night in Rome. Our flight was delayed so we were a little late arrving. The hotel rang to let the restaurant know. This was no problem at all. The welcome was very friendly and the food and service was outstanding. This restaurant is a gem in the centre of Rome. We would definitely visit again when in Rome.

Wonderful, authentic Italian food, with exciting flavours and welcoming, jovial staff. In particular loved the Italian cheese platter and the exciting sauces with the main course. The prosecco at the start and the limoncello at the end is a really nice touch; look forward very much to coming back!

Great food, wonderful and charming staff and you immediately fell like you are part of the family. We visited the restaurant twice during our stay in Rome and had a great time. We will be back!

Feel like at home. It's great!!! We started conversation with personal immediately when came in and they were really absolutely open with us like we know each other for many years. Of course after this all food was delicious because they recommended to us their favorite dishes.

Excellent family cooking, very tasty and not to be missed. Go try their local speciality, you will not be disappointed at all. Will go back next time we are in Rome.
