6/10The Bread and the Mussels were excellent. The pastas, we had 3, were not al dente. They also were missing on flavor. Very disappointing. The woman who served us was great. We didn’t have the heart to complain. A friend of ours loved this place and was here 3 times and recommended we go here. Maybe we had a bad night?

8.5/10Food was good but hopefully it was just an off night on the service side of the house. Meals were very slow in coming and wait staff seemed out of sorts. Service like we experienced is not consistent with the ratings on this restaurant.

gentile cliente la ringraziamo per aver apprezzato il cibo ed anche per il commento che ha fatto sul servizio dandoci il beneficio del dubbio..effettivamente abbiamo avuto un paio di problemi durante il servizio che ci hanno resi un pó ansiosi ..ci scusiamo davvero .non è la nostra normalità ed essere un pó nervosi o preoccupati di solito non rientra nel nostro modo di lavorare ma è stata una serata particolare ieri..purtroppo abbiamo avuto degli imprevisti. ci scusiamo nuovamente e cercheremo di fare sempre del nostro meglio per far sentire i nostri ospiti a loro agio come accade quasi sempre.. porgiamo cordiali saluti e speriamo possiate avere solo ottime esperienze durante il vostro soggiorno a Roma.

10/10We love this restaurant! The two servers are also the owners and are very friendly and professional. The food is amazing, a fusion of Puglia and Rome. We especially loved the Amitriciana.

10/10The couple that owns this place are absolutely lovely and do an amazing job with everything. They do everything from seating you to taking your order and cashing you out, all seamlessly and with a smile. Whoever is in the kitchen cooking is also incredible. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, decor etc. Would absolutely return on our next visit to Rome!

We fond this place on Google. It seemed good review so we booked for dinner. It was our first dinner in Rome. Service was excellent, people were very welcoming. Very pretty restaurant, Food was just amazing. We enjoyed so much. Mixed fries ( starter for 2 people ), Oxtail in tomato sauce (main)and Tiramisu. I highly recommend these dishes Their wine list was great as well

First time trying Amatriciana and it did not disappoint. Great flavour and plenty of guanciale. The service was attentive as well. Only reason it's not perfect was that we had to sit outside. I would've preferred inside seating but as I understood, they had it reserved for other guests. Regardless, I will come back next time for the Amatriciana.

Fabulous restaurant. Ten days in Italy, and this was a standout restaurant. I can not recommend it more highly. Everything was great from starters to mains to dessert. We will be back.

10/10We had a fabulous dinner there and tried multiple items... the Frito misto, Alle gricia, Carbonara, Amitricaina, the meatballs in a mushroom sauce. All were wonderful. We also had a red and white wine as well as an aperol spritz and those were very good too. Highly recommend!!

10/10Our favorite meal in Rome, perhaps in all of Italy. Everything was delicious and the owner/host was wonderful, sharing with us about her mother’s recipes, all of which were fantastic. Recommend the eggplant, roasted vegetables on flatbread, cod fritters (yes, try them, I promise) and meatballs with mushrooms. The veal with ham was, in a word, stirring. Setting was so warm and even romantic, service was lovely and so very pleasant. I would recommend Il Tarallo to anyone and everyone.

10/10Absolutely perfect experience! Not only was the food the best we had in all 4 days we stayed in Rome, but the owner personally came by our table several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. On top of that, the price was exceedingly reasonable, and the serving sizes generous. Make sure to ask for the homemade desserts of the day! If it's available, we particularly loved the pistacchio cream.

10/10We had two delicious meals at Il Tarallo during our recent trip to Rome. There are many popular restaurants to choose from in the Trastevere neighborhood, but if you are looking for a more sedate atmosphere with food that is cooked with care, you should book here.

This is one of the best restaurants in Rome. Amazing food, very good service. The owners of the resturant are very friendly and welcome the people very nicely. Definitely recommended!!!
