Food was great. But the vibe was a bit unusual. No background music, and we could hear the cooks watching videos on their phone. Then at 8pm, they turned on the TV to watch the news : ) Quite an experience, but the food was realy good.

Pizza was good, there was no music playing in the restaurant which made it weird - it would make sense to have something at least in the background. There was clear chaos among staff - the oldest lady, probably the owner was the one creating that chaos. All the other staff was very welcoming and nice.

The restaurant was a decent location not too far away from the main square but away from the busy crowds. We ordered the croquettes for apertivo, they arrived and were still frozen in the middle, so we complained, they took them away and brought replacements which were also still very cold in the middle so we left after that. Also, there was no pizza available, which is odd for a restaurant that advertises itself as a pizzeria. Very disappointed with Il Teatro.

The food was good and the service too. Comfy and quite place. The quality/price is quite good considering you're in Amalfi. We ordered two pastas and a "frittura di pesce" that is various fried fishes (anchovies, octopus, shrimps), plus half bottle of Chianti wine and the total was 50sh euro.
