We arrived early and sat in the bar with a lovely view while we sipped our cocktails. They immediately transferred our cocktail bill to our dinner bill. The food was delicious. I ordered ricotta ravioli with San Marzano tomato sauce, truly the best I have ever had. The following eggplant parmigiana was also fantastic. We tried 2 different local wines, both very good. There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our food and our evening. The hotel was kind enough to take us to our hotel gratis, a very nice gesture. We walked over but walking back in the dark was a bit dangerous. A wonderful restaurant with great food and service and reasonable prices.

The food was disappointing as the restaurant is nice with great views. The service was professional and humorous which made up for the cold soggy dishes.

Service is fundamental to a good experience while dining out.The food and the view could be exquisite but service, timing and attitude are also very important. Hence the review for our rating. We were a party of 6. The food on the most part was very good. But their service and timing was less than ideal. When you dine with a group you want to eat and finish pretty much at the same time. Our friends had ordered the chateaubriand which they said was delicious but cold. Their dish would have benefited by being served on heated plates. My spouse and I had ordered appetizers, grilled octopus and fried calamari which were well presented and delicious. We canceled our main course as it did not arrive and our friends had long finished their dinner. Part of their problem that evening was not having enough waitstaff for the number of customers they had. They had plenty of busboys/gals but only 1 waiter to take our order, prepare the tableside chateaubriand plus pay attention to all the customers

Not what we expected it to be. The food was plain and some of the dishes were not tasty. We took the lamb and the spignola and both were below average. It is a pity because staff was wonderful.

Very friendly and helpfull staff.Delious shrimp starter.The tuna tartar was good but the mashed potatoes were rather tasteless. The spigola as a main dish was OK but nothing special.the lamb was just great.we'd love to come back.be careful with the address and your navigation...the restaurant is part of the Grand Hotel Due Golfi.we got lost.it took us an hour to find it.

We ate here to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and everything was great. The food was excellent, very quick, but not rushed and perfectly prepared. The waiters were very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. All in all, a very fitting end to a memorable trip to the Sorrento area.
