10/10lunch or dinner this place is a home run and the staff recommends are on point! The best food we had in Taormina! and the views of Mt Etna are insane!!!!

6.5/10The walk up the stairs a from the main town took forever but the view was amazing! We sat outside and had a perfect table over looking Mt Aetna. The octopus was tiny and bland and not worth the price. The seabass was bland also and asparagus super over cooked. The piglet ragu pasta was actually very good.

10/10Dinner at Villa Ducale was a phenomenal and exceptional experience. The view of Mount Etna and Taormina was unparalleled. The food was delicious. The service was courteous and attentive. We will recommend this restaurant to everyone we meet while here in Taormina and when we return home.

10/10We celebrated our daughter’s birthday in this wonderful restaurant with a breathtaking view. Food wine and atmosphere were great, and Giuseppe, Salvatore, and Francesco brought it to perfection.

10/10Couldn’t speak more highly of this restaurant! Incredible views onto Mount Etna, delicious food (the pasta ‘norma’ was a highlight), and the most polite and attentive staff. Our best meal of the trip. Highly recommended :)

9/10Everything about my experience at Villa Ducale restaurant was amazing! The ambience was excellent and the view was magical!! The staff are very friendly and nice! If there was anything that I could change maybe to do something about the heat because i was sweating! Otherwise than that it was perfect

5/10A restaurant in these surroudings deserves a much higher level of service. The waiters did not manage to follow up, they mixed up the orders, did not pay attention in regards to water, wine and refill. The vegetables were "soggy". Sorry to say but the best score is given to he view.

10/10Villa Ducale is a classy joint. Up in the hills of Taormina, it has a beautiful view of the Bay of Naxos and Etna. It was a 60th birthday meal for me and the waiting staff looked after us well and the food was delicious. We got a cab up the hill and down again, but if you timed it properly you could catch the amazing corporation bus that zigs and zags as far as Castelmola all day long.

10/10Starts with the amazing view when you walk in. Then the greeting and welcoming feel from the staff. From there you are treated to excellent service that includes insight and recommendations based on your input and what you would like to try. Food was prepared to utmost perfection. The only thing that disappointed was we had to eventually leave! Don’t hesitate you will love it as much as we did.

The ambience was warm and inviting, and the view was amazing. However, what truly made the evening exceptional were the remarkable waiters, Max and Giuseppe. Their friendly demeanor, and impeccable Service added a personal touch that made us feel truly valued as guests. Their teamwork and passion for the roles are a testament to the high standards of Ducale restaurant. if you are looking for unforgettable dining experience with exceptional service, I highly recommend visiting and asking for Max and Giuseppe. They will undoubtedly enhance your visit and leave you eager to return. it was my birthday, and they surprised me with a candle and singing, and made it truly memorable night for us.

10/10Wonderful restaurant- one of the best experiences we had in Sicily! The food is delicious, we had delicious primis and as secondi fish & lamb, both was perfectly prepared and very tasty! The wine was good, and the service perfect! The view is magical (Etna and Taormina bay).

10/10+1My goodness. The Villa Ducale restaurant was a complete experience…in the best way! Food and service were truly outstanding. The young chef (whose name I can’t recall, sadly) is truly a talent. The many options my table tasted were universally admired. Appetizers, main & secondary courses and even through dolci were truly tasty, local and creative. We actually cancelled our reservations for the next night for another restaurant and ate dinner there 2X during our 3 night stay. Breakfast, too, was terrific!
