10/10I have almost no words. What a great place the food is just amazing and with a great wine collection. The staff is very nice and helpful. We made some changes to the menu and this was no problem at all. We will back soon

7.5/10We visited Indian Poort for the first time. We liked the atmosphere and were pleased to feel the ventilation. The mixed grill and Chilly lamb curry were excellent, the vegetables mediocre and very much Dutch mixture and the lettuce out of place. I have never seen a simple 'mixed' salade (without dressing ) in an Indian meal. Strangely we were charged €1.50 for the doggy bag ... Also a first timer ... € 100 for three is pretty top ranking for what we got.

9.5/10We had an absolutely amazing dinner at India Poort. The staff is was so accommodating and friendly, and the interior of the restaurant is fantastic. Extremely high-end, creative food, with an ambience that avoids the experience being stiff or formal.

7.5/10The food is really good. All the dishes were delicious and very nicely presented.However, it takes extremely long the waiting time, more than an hour without any food! They warned us in the beginning that it would take a long time due to the high number of clients., only we did not expect that long. Well, then please don't put so many tables if you cannot handle that., least of all on a Saturday.

7.5/10The food was very good and the service was exceptional. This is real authentic Indian food, so prepare for their spicy to be more than normal. They also have outside seating. Will eat here again

3.5/10The chicken was horribly dry in the tikka masala (despite this being a chef's special!?), parts of the salmon were on the raw side. The only (slight) saving grace was the lamb saag, which we rate a 6/10. However, all the sauces with the curries were watery and - sorry to say - utterly tasteless. No hint of all the wonderful spices we so love from India. You should (also) be ashamed of the peshwari nan bread- it was simply a plain nan with a very very small amount of almond spices. Simply the worst curry food experience.

Dear arnold, I'd like to thank you for choosing to dine with us, I'm terribly sorry that the experience was not one that is in line with most of our other guests. I'd like to extend my sincerer apologies for not delivering to your expectations as we are all about exceeding peoples expectations. Can I take this opportunity to respond to your comments; We will investigate about the peshwari naan with the tandoori chef because we have not had this complaint in the past. Out of the 4 dishes what was ordered, 2 are the same with a different meat/fish (chicken tikka massala & salmon bengali massala). Unlike many restaurants we don’t use a base gravy, full of tomatopuree to prepare the curries , because they will tast all the same or slightly different. I am sure that the other 2 dishes that you had tasted different to you from both. With regards to your under cooked main course, though we do our best to cook everything perfectly we appreciate it can happen but we're also more than happy to remedy any is re

10/10The restaurant is small but keeps sufficiënt room between tables that you feel like having a private conversation. Modest but very friendly staff and food that exceeded my expectations. I was happy with the remark that what I ordered might be too much so I could adjust it. I’m recommending this to everyone!

9.5/10Great food. The naan bread and the mango icecream are really good. Would’ve liked a little more emphasis on the Indian/Bengoli atmosphere though, especially with music. Would’ve been very nice to (instead of the modern music) hear some nice Bengoli singing in the background for example. I was also so happy to hear that the owners son agreed that eating by hand makes food taste so much better :D

10/10The food was fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough for us. They really made it personal with their service. only real down side was being served Merlot wine cold ;| the food though really ticked all of the coxes and the meat was cooked to perfection. we will be back!

10/10It was a special night with beautiful authenthic food. We felt at home. Everything about this visit was excellent,the food was superb, the staff were so polite. The Rezala curry was excellent. Great ambience. Do try the Biryani here, one of the best in town. Also they serve great liquors!

10/10Very glad I found this restaurant in Hilversum. We made a online booking on this website. I am hard to impress but this restaurant was great, staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Food was the best Indian that I have tasted in years and the wine and spirits list was great unlike most Indian restaurants who don't have a clue! Well done and we will be back!
