4.5/10Took a long time for that starter to come (45 min!) Indicated that there were allergies. Yet nuts and yoghurt were used.

9.5/10It’s a small restaurant but you can see that people kept on coming even around 21.00 so yes the food is amazing! No doubt! The owner also very friendly.. We will be coming back for sure.. If you’re craving for an authentic Indian food in Utrecht, this is the place!

9.5/10We have been coming back regularly. This time we brought a friend who has never been here before. We were introduced / welcomed with their new cocktails which were lovely. Then started with the vegetarian starter tasting. Followed by several main course dishes (vindaloo, biryani, tikka and tandoori) and finished off with a small and light dessert. Great evening and we all enoiyed it. Friend is definitely coming back, just like us.

10/10Brought my colleagues for the fort time there. They all enjoyed it to the max. Even the one who cannot eat spicy enjoyed her meal. Also the Naan bread, freshly made and baked delicious.

10/10This little restaurant is as a great find! The staff was very welcoming and the service was really good (we were served by Soraya). The food was great as well. I highly recommend!

9.5/10Fantastic food, I‘ve come here many times for my favorite dishes. Friendly staff. A bit noisy, probably due to the shape of the room and acoustic. I‘m looking forward to eating here again!

4/10The food was not as expected: curries are not as we were used to in traditional restaurants (different composition)? For example: the rice didn’t contain the traditional cloves but a lot of cumin. The lam was dry. We paid 98 euro’s for two persons, which is a bit overpriced looking at the quality. Moreover: you have to pay two euro’s (approximately) for tap water! The first time we have encountered this in NL. The appetizers were great tough. The naan was simple and greasy (without garlic, what we are used to from other restaurants). Overall: very expensive for what you get. There was also no flexibility in the menu (usually you could choose from two deserts, fish or meat, etc). It was very cold in the restaurant, even though the front door was closed.

8/10The food was great! It was delicious and well presented. The restaurant was a bit on the expensive side, but you do get very good quality of food in return. The staff was lovely and helpfull. We had a great night.

7/10We had a tasteful, cosy and authentic Indian dinner at India Port. The waitresses could have paid more attention to seeking eye contact for asking if we would have wanted more drinks or coffee/tea/desert afterwards. We had a nice evening.

10/10We came here for a nice Indian dining experience alongside the canal and we are very happy and satisfied with the experience. The Food was amazing and we loved the richness and variety of the dishes. The service was really good and if you'd like to have it a little less spicy, they were also open to tweaking that. So all in all a lovely eating experience and I would like to recommend this to anybody, who is looking for some authentic Indian food. Thank you India Port :) for making my b'day so special.

9/10Excellent Indian food and good service. In my opinion the portions could be a little more generous considering the price. I had a curry which came with rice, but if I hadn't ordered naan on the side I wouldn't have had enough rice to finish my curry with. Other than that, reasonable prices considering that it's in the centre of the city and has a great location, with outdoor tables right next to the canal. All in all I'd recommend it!

6.5/10The food was tasty. The problem was that it took 1.5 hours to get our entrees (after we placed our order). The appetizers came fairly quickly, however the entrees were very slow. I asked the waitress and she said sorry, but they were pretty busy. The restaurant was about 20% full so it was a bit of a mystery. I’d say if you are deliberately trying to kill a few hours or more, than this might be your place. If you want a meal inside of 1 hour, you’ll be irritated and disappointed. That said, we did think the food was very tasty.

10/10Lovely location along the Oudegracht, the interior was cosy and chill. We had a variety of curry’s ranging in spice which were all fantastic, with some naan breads. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. What more can you ask for?

6.5/10India Port has always been one of my favourite restaurants but I have been missing for quite a while. Since last I was there however the quality of food has significantly declined: we were 5 and took 3 x Seekh Kebab, which used to be a fantastic dish...yesterday on the other hand its quality was sub-par, vegetables were almost raw, the meat was chewy and not very tasty.

6/10We arrived at 18.25 and they gave us a really good place in a corner. Very disappointing that our meal came so late. Although two warm plates came earlier the food was served at 19.44❗️The restaurant had to close at 20.00❗️ My Indian tea was terrible, not Indian at all. We waited 5 quarters and had to eat in 15 minutes.

6.5/10Food is authetic, and well prepared. However; 2 out of 3 ordered dishes were not available. Waitress came to oir table twice to tell is. One dishbwas even the Chefs specialty. On a saturday at 19:00 it is hard to imagine to run out of ingredients already. You might expect a gesture in free drinks or appitizers, but it was not offered. The portions are relatively small, curries were great in taste, but 24 euro's for 5 shrips is somewhat overpriced. All together: a lot to improve at this place.

9/10This is the best Indian restaurant I know in Holland. Food is always amazing, so very tasty. The location in downtown Utrecht is very charming so next to the canal. Only a little bit faster service would make it a prefect score , but it's a very popular place, so I understand staff is sometimes very busy. I can highly recommend it, you will love it!

9.5/10We most certainly will be back. The restaurant asking us in advance if we wanted to have Dutch style spicing or more Indian style spicing (spicy hot) was really good service and they delivered. Thank you.

2.5/10We felt that it was not at all Indian food that we were expecting . We order mint Tikka in starter and it was highly dissatisfied. It was boiled chicken dipped in mint gravy . Tikka meant to be grilled in tandoor . And after complain So disrespectful behaviour and try to justify the food in a such manner that I am not from India and know nothing about Indian food or I need ever had it in my life.

5/10I had requested for a table along the canal but the they gave us a seat next to the outside wall of the restaurant which was quite disappointing. Out of the three servers only one person was courteous whereas others were quite rude. As an example, Amongst the drinks, I had asked for 1 Lit of water, she served only 1/2 Lit and when I requested to change that she argued with me that she had received an order of 1/2 Lit only from her colleagues!! This was strange. The food was good but I think good Indian food is served at many other Indian restaurants. I think, henceforth I will not recommend this restaurant to my friends and there is very less chance I will visit again.

6.5/10The food was delicious, we enjoyed it! However, we can't say the same concerning the service. We had to wait for more than 50 minutes to receive the starters and another 30 minutes for the main dishes. A waitress was sitting the whole evening on her phone without coming once to inform the customers as we were not the only one waiting for ages. Unfortunately, this behaviour doesn't give a positive image of the restaurant. We recommend for the food if you're on holiday or willing to take a day off to go there.
