10/10My son had jaw surgery two weeks before our meal at India Roti and the owner brought him a small sample of lamb to test the tenderness. He was concerned that my son could enjoy the meal and it turned out wonderfully. It has been one week since our meal and I am still thinking about it. Delicious.

10/10Staff were very friendly and accommodating, even though we turned up half an hour early and with 3 people fewer than we booked for. Food was excellent and service was attentive. Lovely ambiance in the restaurant also. Fully recommend.

9.5/10The restaurant is a decent size and has a large menu with many of the usual favourites. The service was friendly and efficient. The portion sizes were not large (apart from the rice, which was huge), but they are probably the right size to be able to share and not over eat.

8.5/10Great food but slow service due to them having a large party in at the same time. Good vegetarian choices, however, side dishes were almost expensive as the main courses.

8.5/10Great spicy poppadoms, on the house, a rich lamb karahi curry, pilau rice, garlic and onion naans with coriander. Dense kulfi ice cream to finish.l with plenty of pistachio nuts. Drinks include local ij wit beer, a Chilean Syrah rose and a merlot. Currently payment is possible by cash or Maestro debit card, but not credit card.

10/10I am SO glad we choose to go here for dinner. First of all, the staff were amazing! So attentive, helpful and friendly and made us feel at home. Having booked through The Fork, they explained to us some conditions of the deal in advance so there were no surprises with the bill. Most places wouldn’t do this - so it was a refreshing thing to see. The wait for the food was slightly longer than average, but when it arrived it was clear to see why. The food was all freshly made and honestly I cannot tell you how incredible everything was. We were a family of 6 and every one of our meals were 10/10. Definitely one of the best Indian meals we have ever had outside of India! Everything was fresh, tender, flavoursome and beautifully presented. Overall, we had a 10/10 experience and my boyfriend and I can’t wait to bring more of our family here when they visit us from Scotland. Favourite restaurant we have tried in the Netherlands so far. One thing to note is they don’t accept visa or Mastercard. So make sure you have cash or an alternative payment method. No issue for us as we had a Dutch bank card on hand. Thank you to all of the amazing staff for the most amazing night!

9/10The service is the main highlight of the restaurant, the people are very welcoming and kind. To add to it, the food was great, Chicken Tandoori and Butter chicken being our favourite dishes. I would surely recommend this restaurant.

10/10Authentic delicious Indian food and when it says spice on the menu you can actually believe it. The food is also kept warm in the middle of the table so you don’t have to rush eating. The “Jab Gulaab” dessert is highly recommended! Friendly staff, relaxing spacious atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

10/10Delicious food and impeccable service. The waiter helped us choose dishes according to our taste and preferences. They even advised not to order too much, despite this going against their own interest. I was even surprised by how he could memorize the whole order (6 people) without taking any notes. You're the superhero!

10/10Excellent food and treatment. We (two adults and two kids) asked to be seated in a quiet part of the restaurant and we were helped without hesitation. In the main, and nicely decorated, room there were two noisy groups of people but our final table was in a nice and quiet part. We were carefully advised by the restaurant manager on what (and how much) to order and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The cost was very affordable and we also got the additional discount for booking with The fork. At the end, we had a lovely evening with great food.

10/10very friendly and quiet restaurant. Tasty food with authentique taste. Everything to our taste. One warning for non resident: As the restaurant seems to cater mostly to locals, the owner prefers local credit cards or cash. This is however a little price to pay for a very pleasant evening!

8/10Starters and Food were excellent ! One of the best in Amsterdam. Main dish portions were smaller than expected . If you are big eater , you know that. Mango lassi was too sweet Sadly , Sweet dish were still frozen or too melted . One staff so it was very busy for him. Overall nice experience and evening , they accommodated our special request.
