9.5/10Service was excellent and the quality of the food outstanding. Portion size was good and great value for money. Although quiet the service was attentive and intuitive. Probably some of the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten. A must if you want decent curry whilst in Amsterdam.

The experience was overall pretty good, but a few things could have been better. We ordered butter chicken with peshwari and garlic naans, both of which were really tasty. However, the rice that came with the dish was undercooked and crispy to the bite, definitely not the way it should be. I was also a bit surprised that you don't get papadoms while waiting on your food. This is the first Indian restaurant I've been to which doesn't offer this. Finally, the staff was really nice, but getting their attention was rather difficult, especially when we wanted to pay.

8.5/10Service was very kind and courteous. Menu is extensive, with a lot of vegetarian options. The okra was absolutely delicious as was the chapati! We reserved for 19h and the place was empty, but for another table of 5. I recommend this place!

10/10My son had jaw surgery two weeks before our meal at India Roti and the owner brought him a small sample of lamb to test the tenderness. He was concerned that my son could enjoy the meal and it turned out wonderfully. It has been one week since our meal and I am still thinking about it. Delicious.

10/10Staff were very friendly and accommodating, even though we turned up half an hour early and with 3 people fewer than we booked for. Food was excellent and service was attentive. Lovely ambiance in the restaurant also. Fully recommend.

9.5/10The restaurant is a decent size and has a large menu with many of the usual favourites. The service was friendly and efficient. The portion sizes were not large (apart from the rice, which was huge), but they are probably the right size to be able to share and not over eat.

Great spicy poppadoms, on the house, a rich lamb karahi curry, pilau rice, garlic and onion naans with coriander. Dense kulfi ice cream to finish.l with plenty of pistachio nuts. Drinks include local ij wit beer, a Chilean Syrah rose and a merlot. Currently payment is possible by cash or Maestro debit card, but not credit card.

10/10I am SO glad we choose to go here for dinner. First of all, the staff were amazing! So attentive, helpful and friendly and made us feel at home. Having booked through The Fork, they explained to us some conditions of the deal in advance so there were no surprises with the bill. Most places wouldn’t do this - so it was a refreshing thing to see. The wait for the food was slightly longer than average, but when it arrived it was clear to see why. The food was all freshly made and honestly I cannot tell you how incredible everything was. We were a family of 6 and every one of our meals were 10/10. Definitely one of the best Indian meals we have ever had outside of India! Everything was fresh, tender, flavoursome and beautifully presented. Overall, we had a 10/10 experience and my boyfriend and I can’t wait to bring more of our family here when they visit us from Scotland. Favourite restaurant we have tried in the Netherlands so far. One thing to note is they don’t accept visa or Mastercard. So make sure you have cash or an alternative payment method. No issue for us as we had a Dutch bank card on hand. Thank you to all of the amazing staff for the most amazing night!
