8/10Shad is a tiny restaurant but has a cosy interior. You can see into the adjoining kitchen where all the food is prepared from scratch. The waitress was cheerful and helpful. We shared tasty samosas followed by delicious and very fresh tasting chicken saag and vegetable masala, both expertly prepared.

8/10I did not give 5 stars because I asked to have the food without cream inside, and the chef did what I asked for the soup, but not for the main dish ! So, I had physical problems all night, and could not sleep. It is probably the foulth of the person who wrote the note

4/10Able to get a late booking on a Saturday night which we were pleased about but not a tandoori restaurant as we thought. Food was tasty but very very salty. Not a personal preference but an actual fact. Not sure we’d go again.

7/10We have enjoyed the dinner. Very good food. Disappointing was the end of the dinner. We were really pushed out at 10 pm…We knew that the restaurant closes at 10 pm but when you arrive at 7.30 pm and you eat one plate…we are not responsible for the late service….

6/10Food was good, but there was no ventilation, not even in the kitchen so the air was thick with smoke which irritated our eyes and stayed in our clothes. Service could have been faster, but very friendly.
