The food was meh - the service was meh- the decor was meh. This is the first restaurant during our trip in Lisbon where the waitress asked for tip starting at 10%. Last night we went to a restaurant that gave you the option to tip 2-6% and the waitress never asked. The waiter that took our order was impatient and can’t be bothered. I would not dine here again.

While the service was OK and the atmosphere noisy but pleasant, the petiscos we were served where far below par. Only the ovos farinheiros were acceptable. Three other petiscos (chocos fritos, pica pau de vaca and pica pau de atum) were not well prepared at all. Also, having booked believing we’d benefit from a 50% discount, it turned out the 50% “quota” had been reach and we ended up paying full prize. It’s true that, having hastily booked while walking through the streets, I hadn’t checked the The Fork confirmation mail that clearly stated there wouldn’t be a discount… Conclusion: always check your confirmation mail!!!

A wonderful little local restaurant in the old town - the Portuguese steak was perfect and the chefs are visible working near the front of the restaurant which added to the whole experience.

It’s one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants that serves solid Portuguese food. Pica Pau de atum and the octopus stand out.

Was sad that they didn’t have their amazing mushrooms on. Meat wasn’t quite as good as it normally is. Don’t know everything just felt a bit off. We’ve had great meals there in the past so I’m sure we will give it another go soon.

Wow, we’ve not lived here very long but are surprised we didn’t find this place sooner. Great friendly staff and excellent food. They told us that they also have an executive lunch, which we’ll be trying next.

Ordered pork cheek, octopus and cod fish. All were fantastic and highly recommended! Ranked them based on the dishes above. The waiter also spoke very good English and communicated the fork offer really well! If I could, I would have returned for another meal!

Great! I recommend to try it. Food is delicious, service is attentive, just waiting time I'm our case was a bit long- almost an hour. I believe there was some misunderstanding with the kitchen. Thank you. I will be back!
