9/10Very good place to try other countries food! I love experiencing new meals and dishes I wouldn't be able to try unless traveling, and this restaurant give your some of the good ones. The service was so kind and supportive, we felt very welcomed and enjoyed our stay. The atmosphere of the place was great as well! I loved the mosic and the decorations of the restaurant. As well the nice place to sit outside.

6.5/10The restaurant applied different price to the fork reservations and regular customers. The prices on the menu was covered and when we took another menu from another table we figured out that it was way cheaper. So our 50% discount was in fact became ca. 20%. The restaurant did not provide the price breakdown of our orders in the end of the meal and just stated a price that was beyond our expectation. Although we were the only customers at the restaurant during the entire dinner, apparently the restaurant forgot to apply the discount. When we asked the price breakdown we were not provided with the bill but the owner wrote the prices on a piece of paper and applied additional costs to the ordered items for no reason i.e a platter on the fork menu written as “for 2-3 persons” with the cost of 50€ became 60€ as we were 3. We could not pay with credit card as the machine was reportedly out of battery, and owner did not want to charge it. No invoice was provided despite our several request.

10/10The food was delicious, we liked also the special beers and we liked to speak with the woman who welcomed us. Also the atmosphere is nice, next time we want to go in the cozy upstair room with chanting tables and chairs. They also organize live music. Thank you and see you soon.

10/10Staff was friendly and caring and the food was delicious and in generous amount. We truly enjoyed our dinner and would recommend to everyone who wants to try something different and cooked with love :)

5/10Google shows the open hours at 3pm, we made a reservation at 5pm, however the chef was not there until 6pm…(and the staff couldn’t reach the chef either)

7.5/10The food was good, unfortunately they were out of Ethiopian beer. Very nice and homey ambiance, but quite noisy because of the music.

2/10I came with a group of my girl friends, 3 of us are Ethiopian while two were not, and decided to eat somewhere else before. The service was slow, and the cook came out to tell us we could not just order two dishes when we are occupying 5 seats, telling us we need to order and pay more. We tried to explain that only 3 of us were eating, and indicated that there was a white couple next to us occupying a booth that could seat 8 people. We were super upset and disheartened by the owners dismissive and rude behaviour towards us. Utter bullshit if you ask me, and racially motivated which makes 0 sense as we were black as well. Assuming they try to profit off white people by suggesting various dishes for them to try which is wrong. I do not recommend this place at all, ridiculous and rude unfair treatment.

6.5/10Food was very simple. Nice to try African food. 30% discount was a bit of a joke as we still paid the regular price, due to prices being much higher for Fork users. This can be seen by comparing prices in the app with prices in the website.

9.5/10Restaurant is run by Ethiopians serving Ethiopian dishes, without cutlery but with some type of Ethiopian sour pancake for (sort-of) scooping. Be prepared to eat with your hands! (Although cutlery will be provided when asked, but where's the fun in that.) Excellent flavors and combinations which I've never tried before. Some of the dishes were too spicy for my taste, although with me being a Dutchman I'm not really a good measure for spiciness ???? Staff is very friendly, although it's unclear at first which members speak Dutch and which don't. Price/quality balance is excellent though, we had a table of 2 and left fully satiated, having had a couple of drinks, for under 30 euros per person, with food left to spare to feed a third.

10/10Amazing food and friendly service. The employees are friendly and funny. The food is so good! Meat stews, but they have lots of vegetarian options too. They will even mix the side dishes for you if you want.

10/10We had a wonderful family dinner (vegetarian) in the shade on the patio. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Taking care of Covid measures (perhaps the waiter came a bit too close when taking orders a few times, but the place was kept very clean. Fresh, spicy food with loads of fresh green peppers. A bit too spicy for my wife and youngest kids, but my eldest son and I loved the heat. The green peppers were easily removed, so it was not a big problem, but next time we may order separate plates. All in all a wonderful, very vacationy experience. We’ll be back, our new favorite restaurant!

10/10I loved the ambience of the place with art work work and ornate designs across the restaurant. We ordered the special meals for two people as we wanted to taste several items. The food was fresh, tasty and felt very authentic.
