Nice people but too much attention, dishes are small for the price. Things are tasty.

Good morning Eyal. Our team, and especially myself, regret the "excessive" customer service that you describe and we will easily try to balance it to your taste on your next visit (let us know if you visit us again). As for the dishes being small; the concept explained at the tables during reception is that we are a tapas restaurant (mainly influenced by Seville) and we recommend, for example, 2/3 tapas and a main course to share for two people. We are very pleased that you consider our food to be tasty, but as such, we consider 4/10 for the food to be inadequate. We take criticism, when constructive, very seriously and will internally analyze your less positive experience. We work daily to improve and are proud of the progress we have made in these short 2 months of existence. If you decide to give us another chance, we will be here, eager to welcome you back and let you know (in the best way we know how) the experience of O Insolente Tapas. Best regards, Ricardo Liberato and Insolente Team

O Insolente is a friendly, welcoming place, with a young, attentive team. The menu is not extensive, but it's more about quality than anything. Though the people running it are Portuguese, as is most of the produce, there's a lot of Spanish influence here in the tapas menu, especially with the outstanding tortilla which was perfectly prepared for that gooey middle that you rarely find outside of Spain. The tartar of tomatoes was also terrific, as was the prawn brioche bun. Desserts are salted chocolate cake with a brownie exterior, or a basque cheesecake. My wife and I disagreed on which was best. The wine list was excellent, with a good range of prices, and several wines we knew mixed in with a few we didn't. We didn't try the cocktails, so I suppose we'll have to go back.
