I had the sea bass and my wife had sea bream. Both were incredible. We also opened with oysters, which were the best I’ve had. This restaurant is amazing. A hidden gem.

Quiet, out of the way gem in Lisbon! Excellent food, and the service by Antonio was 10/10. Only 4-5 tables in the very cozy dining room so make reservations in advance. Cash only, so come prepared!

Great,fresh seafood in a tiny, authentic restaurant with lots of atmosphere. We had seabass (perfectly cooked), octopus rice and fisherman“s stew. All great. Friendly service by owner. Good value for money, highly recommend..Cash only, but ATMs are just down the street.

Our family of 5 had a delicious meal. The restaurant is modest and small but very comfortable and intimate. Combined with the outstanding personal service, it felt like being invited over to a friends house for dinner. A great way to end our stay in Lisbon.

Small restaurant but really friendly. You have to book and they don’t take cards but it was it was the best meal we had in Lisbon. Traditional and authentic, my wife had a lovely sea bream and I had one of the best steaks I’ve had in ages. Don’t expect some stared restaurant just great place to eat.

Antonio's place is absolutely wonderful! The best food we've had in Lisbon so far, amazing service and best atmosphere. Run there!

One of the best restaurants in Lisbon.

Unexpectedly was told after our meal that the restaurant only took cash. No credit card was allowed. We had to send one from our party to a nearby atm to retrieve money to pay for dinner. The meal was enjoyable and delicious, but this cast an uneasy shadow over our experience. Bill was 165€ and had no idea that this highly rated restaurant did not allow cards.

Intimate restaurant with extraordinary food and service. We had read this was a true gem in Lisbon and our experience did not disappoint. The waiter (whom we assumed was the owner) was very friendly and helpful in recommending a wine as well as answering questions about the food choices. One of us selected the sea bream which arrived as an entire fish and was fresh and delicious. Our other choice was the seafood pasta. It was a huge selection of seafood with squid ink pasta and very delicious. One of our best small restaurant experiences.

We’ve been to this restaurant multiple times . It has become a huge favorite for the excellent fish/ seafood, warm and personal service by the owner Antonio and the charming & cozy feel of the restaurant. It’s truly a gem!

Last week, my best friend and I were in Lisbon for the weekend, and we decided to celebrate my birthday here. The very kind owner pampered us from start to finish, serving us excellent fish dishes and recommending wines. We had a wonderful time! I recommend this place to everyone for an authentic and typical experience. Thank you, Antonio!

The food is outstanding and the service is fantastic. One of the most welcoming restaurants we have visited. All of this for an exceptionally fair price. Only 6 tables, but much better than the big, fancy places.

Food was excellent. Octopus (grilled) and prawns and mussels excellent. Service not what we expected or hoped. Skipped asking us if we wanted dessert so we went down the street for it. One waiter for all (5) tables. Just didn’t feel attended to at all. No rapport.

We really enjoyed the food and ambience. It is a very small restaurant and the owner is the server. The food is super good and we enjoyed it so much we came back for a second dinner during our 5 day stay in Lisbon. Not a fancy place but feels authentic.

We very much enjoyed ourselves with the warm welcome and a shot of sweet wine. The appetizer of goat cheese and fig jam is spectacular. The fish dishes that my other two companions said were good. Although the invicta steak is way below my expectations. I should have paid attention to the cut of steak which was not mentioned on the menu. It was tough, hard to cut! Waste of money. Other than that it was ok.

The food was wonderful! Highly recommend the octopus. The service was friendly and attentive without being pushy or intrusive. Wine recommendation was also fantastic.

This is a wonderful place with excellent service and delicious, fresh food. We started with a board of local meats and cheeses - so good! We then enjoyed fresh sea bass and sea bream grilled to perfection with a simple salad of fresh, ripe tomatoes and arugula. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and they made that so special for us. Highly recommend!
