9.5/10Calm and small restaurant with a very warm ambiance. Food was very good, the manager provided excellent counseling and his choice of wine was great. It’s a place where i will consider return soon.

10/10A unique experience! I went with my wife and a group of friends for my wife’s birthday. It is a small restaurant - so we almost had the place to ourselves! As many reviews mention - António is a fantastic & and helpful server and the food (e.g. the fish of the day and seafood pasta) was top notch! Strongly recommend as a cosy seafood restaurant!

10/10Everything from start to finish was perfect. The ambiance , good, wine and service were top notch. Antonio the owner was super warm and welcoming . We had delicious bread and olive oil with pink salt to start followed by amazing octopus and invicta steak. Antonio welcomed us and said goodbye with complementary liqueurs . Highly recommend this wonderful gem.

10/10The restaurant it’s a small gem in the old town of Lisboa. Antonio , the owner welcomed us with a nice Porto wine from the house, and was an impeccable host! The food was excellent and perfect combined with the wine. Even the choice of music was very pleasant.

10/10We were in Lisbon for 5 nights. We ate at some fabulous restaurants and this was our last night and an amazing way to end our trip. The whole fish was outstanding and the service provided by António was like eating in his home!

10/10Our experience at Invicta was everything we hoped it would be. A charming tiny restaurant tucked into a stone-walled building, the unassuming surroundings belied the terrific food and service. Simply prepared Sea Bream and Sea Bass were perfect. Entrees focus on simplicity not fussy food. The recommended wine delicious. Service couldn’t have been better. You MUST make reservations as there are very few tables. Do not miss.

10/10Excellent quality traditional Portuguese food - at a reasonable price. Cash only. No cards. The owner is lovely with a passion for the food he serves. Invicta Madragoa is small with about six tables and a lovely ambience. We recommend the bread and olive oil, the langostines, seafood rice, fish stew, fish of the day and the cheesecake. The owner is great at pairing the wine with the meal so we asked him to choose our bottle of wine. The food and wine were exceptionally good, the meals large and delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we booked for the following day. Once again, the food and wine were SUPERB! We highly recommend Invicta Madragoa.

10/10I cannot recommend Invicta highly enough. For appetizers, we had the cheese, the chorizo, and the bread & olive oil. For entrees, we had the octopus with hot oil and garlic and the fish stew. We also each ordered white and red wine by the glass. The food was outstanding particularly the chorizo and the octopus. I described the type of wine I like, and the waiter (who is also the owner) gave me exactly what I'd had in mind. He also came by with complimentary sherry before the appetizers came and with a complimentary drink after our meal was over. He wound up coming us the bread, too. The service was excellent, the portions generous and the ambience charming. The only things that could have been improved on were the bread, which was not special, and the stew, which my husband enjoyed but said was quite plain. Still, when I think of the meal as a whole, I don't hesitate at all to give Indicta 5 stars. Get the chorizo! This place is a find.

10/10This place was a 20 out of 10. Very small - only 6 tables - but absolutely no pressure to hurry and finish. We were greeted by the owner who offered an apperitif (port) to start. We had vinho Verde (Portuguese "green" wine, which is really flavorful white wine), olives, farinheir (sausage hash similar to chorizo but better,), seafood stew, and whole sea bream in a light salt crust. Best fish I've ever eaten. We were unfortunately too full for dessert, but the owner then offered a shot of ?? sort of cinnamon grappa. A complete bargain @ EU85. I hope to go back some day!
