9/10The service, ambiance and the starter of cheese melted in honey were the high points, as well as the red and white wines we had. The mains, of octopus and entrecote steak, were acceptable but not spectacular. After the excellence of the starter, we were expecting something better. However, it was, overall, a lovely evening.

The welcome drink was a nice touch. Also shaving the purple salt table side into the olive oil was lovely. Unfortunately the seafood pasta dish was piled high with shells you had to remove the seafood yourself and the pasta was in a broth like a soup and not a sauce. The oysters were still attached to the shell and had sand/grit.

10/10This restaurant was really wonderful. We felt so welcomed by the owner. There is a nice ambiance with nice music and the small size makes it “intimate”. And then the food! It was just delicious! I really recommend this place I had the chance to visit. I can rate it as the best restaurant we tried in Lisbon.

6.5/10Not the best day for the kitchen unfortunately. The Razor Clams we had for the starter was the best thing. All the rest (steak, Octopus, fish, mussels) were disappointing. The service was attentive and compensated some food flaws with extra shots.

6/10We ordered the seafood stew and razor clams. The seafood was fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, more than half of the razor clams were very handy. The seafood stew also had muscles and clams. most of the mussels also were sandy. There were two big prawns and two oysters on top. the oysters, again were sandy. The prawns were not cleaned. Biting into sandy intestines was a big turn off. On the pros side: we were treated to samples of muscato wine and olives. Service was prompt and nice. Cleaning the sand from shell fish would have made our experience closer to 5 stars. Unfortunately that lack of cleaning really was a disappointing experience.

10/10The owner was amazing greeting customers, waiting on them, & delivering food. Heamazing handled everything, while making us feel welcome. The food was great including the bread, fresh fish, wine and dessert. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Tucked away on Rua da Esperança 140, 1200-808, Lisboa, you will find a cozy, 6-table restaurant serving phenomenal food and wine, Invicta Madragoa! We started with the gambas ao alho com gengibre (prawns with garlic and ginger), which were HUGE and absolutely delicious. We tried hard not to devour them, but they were so tasty they didn't stand a chance. Our main course was the peixe fresco do dia (fresh fish of the day), which happened to be sea bream. It was outstanding, to say the least! Needless to say, there was nothing left on our plates. Our delicious wine from the Douro Valley rounded out our meal. The cozy atmosphere, extremely reasonable prices, and attentive service made this restaurant all the more special. They even ordered a taxi for us at the end of our meal. I'm SO glad we could eat at this hidden restaurant gem. We will definitely be back when we return to Lisboa!

The mussels were fabulous but the fish stew was out of this world! Best broth I’ve tasted! be prepared for wanting extra bread to soak it all up! Thank you for a delicious meal!

10/10Our first night in Lisbon and what a great find this restaurant was. Totally authentic, warm and friendly, the freshest of seafood and when the bill arrived we were staggered at the incredible value for money.

10/10This is a tiny six table restaurant where the waiter cares a lot about the quality of food and making a good dining experience (experience because he selected wine pairings for your food - no wine was on the menu, and we got aperitifs and digestifs). We were lucky to get a valentine's day reservation and I had a whole sea bass that was tender and flavorful. Normally white fish is bland and boring. My wife got a plate of prawns and we both got apps - bread and olive oil, with rock salt manually ground into it in front of us, and alheira, a Portuguese sausage made into a dip. We thought it would be over 100€ (these places always are) but we're pleasantly surprised to spend less than 40€ each. The only downside is they're cash only, but an ATM is nearby. Would love to go back!

9/10Restaurant had only six tables. Very small specialty menu. On this January evening we were the only diners there. It was recommended by a friend and was good. My friend raved about the octopus—not my thing. Sea bass was ok. The sponge cake was fantastic!!

10/10The restaurant is in a small old cellar at the entrance floor and has around 8-10 tables. Antonio was very helpful and there were Aperitiv and Digestifs were complimentary, the wine recommendation was on spot and mixed seafood for two people was very tasty and as a portion more than enough for two stomach. Our internets did not work and it is actually a good thing 😄 we went to celebrate a birthday and that was also very fitting, All in all a 10/10 experience.
