The service and decoration are 100% great! However i expected much better food - the 5 dishes served in the pre-set menu are the basics you can find in any small Japanese bistro, just with less portion and more sophisticated visual composition…. I regret coming here even with the fork promotion.

The food was excellent — fresh and portions quite generous for omakase. The decor was beautiful, with the restaurant in the basement of a new Japanese mall, which was closing down as we sat down to eat so it felt like we had a corner of Paris all to ourselves. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I docked one star on service (I would have docked only half a star if I could) only because they seem to be a new restaurant that hasn’t yet got its processes down flawlessly yet.
