6.5/10Seemed silly that we could not order any of the tapas from the bar if we were sitting at a table. The steak was delicious. The sepia was horrible and sepia is our favorite dish in Spain. The restaurant where we sat was very hot and this was 8:00pm at night. And it was not a hot night outside. No air flow at all and the A/c was not on. Unfortunately for us, it was not a great experiance.

9.5/10Wonderful meal, excellent friendly service, staff was helpful. We had an appetizer and the whole grilled monkfish for 2. Melt in your mouth tender, the best I’ve had anywhere. Highly recommended

2/10I'm going to restaurants at least once a day. I orderded a tataki of beef and I asked it to be 'bleu'. Every tataki should be 'bleu'. I got my beef well done. They took it away when I made a remark about it and came back 5 min later telling they could make it 'bleu' but that I would have to pay for it a second time. I refused. So my meal stopped after my starter. And they didn't care at all.

9/10Charming and friendly atmosphere and delicious locally sourced food. One entree portion was more tapas-sized, which was surprising-- overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

10/10This place was a hidden gem of a place with beautiful menu and lots to choose from. The staff were wonderful and attentive and we really loved the oxtail. Really worth checking out!

10/10We had lunch here. The food is great & delicious, you may choose from personal options for 1 person or get a larger meal to share. The service is great, they were very attentive and gave us that special feeling. Pricing is fair & reasonable. Good wine list.

7.5/10I will start from the positive things because at the end of our dinner sth happened that made us reconsider visiting this restaurant again in the future. We were 8 people from Greece. We made a reservation through fork as we had read good reviews. The food is really good. You will not be disappointed. Except from the salads that were nothing to remember everything else we taste was very nice. The pork ribs, the croquette, the carpaccio, and some very nice small sausages. Really nice cooked. For main dish the very polite and willing to help is waitress suggested to share some mature beef which was the best dish of the restaurant. We saw at the menu that the cost was about 7-7,5 euros per 100 gr. We asked how many grammars the steaks were and she informed us about 1 kg to 1.170 each. So we decided to share in the middle two steaks. The steaks came, they were about 1kg each and they were very nice. Then we asked for the bill. The bill came and we saw that they had charged us steaks for 3,27 kilos, meaning 245€ . As we eat steaks all the time we are capable of knowing how many kilos a steak can be. So we called the waitress and we asked her why the receipt says that we ate this amount of steaks when we clearly had not. She saw that we were disturbed and she left and after a few seconds she returned with a second receipt where the steaks were 2.3 kilos and cost 175€. If we hadn’t noticed that we would have paid more than what we ate. And it is not about the money, really not at all, but about us feeling that they didn’t respect us. We made a bill around 400€, not bad I think and they should have respected that. We paid, we tipped the waitress because other than that she was very nice and we left not as excited as we were during our dinner because of this incident.Maybe in the future we give it another chance.

10/10Great place for basque pintxos right off Rambla. We all enjoyed variety and quality of snacks. Please note that reservation gets you to the restaurant and not to pintxos bar. The staff was very friendly though and helped our group of five to stay in the bar area and find sitting places for two kids.

8/10We went to have an 8 person family dinner and based on the great reviews on their PINTXOS (tapas) as well as the main dishes. When we tried to order PINTXOS at the table as appetizers we were told WE COULD NOT, only a la carte foods (nowhere in the reservation or at the restaurant was that spelled out). While we explained we wanted both, the manager was STUPIDLY ADAMANT NOT TO SERV US ANY PINTXOS unless it was sat at the bar (which was super crowded). We begged the guy an he would not show any flexibility. He pissed off everyone at the table with his ridiculous attitude and excuses. Aside from that, the A la carte food was truly excellent. Another case of “good product and poor management”.

5/10Food quality has gone down. Rather cheap products focused on fast selling.. Still trying to go on the pinchos hype but not worth your visit anymore. If you make a reservation, it is for the restaurant, NOT for the pincho bar!

10/10The atmosphere at the tapas bar was electric with many plates of tapas but we went through to the dining room and had a great meal. We had a country pate, amazing anchovies cooked at our table, pork ribs, and terrific ox tail cooked by a local recipe. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and served us professionally. We will go back for tapas today.

10/10We mainly ate Pintxos along with a few other items from the restaurant menu. The food was fresh, varied, and tasty. The wine suggestions were excellent, our sever was very friendly and helpful, and the value was great. Overall a fantastic dining experience.

10/10It’s so great! The food is delicious, but the presentation and the care put in by the staff really helps it all coalesce into such an amazing place that should not be missed when visiting the city. Go for the tapas or better yet the inner restaurant!

10/10Rather small place with tapas in the front (bar) and restaurant in the back (tables). Tapas were so good we didn‘t make it to the restaurant as initially planned, but had the fish soup at the bar, which was very decent. Nice selection of wines. Very sympathetic staff!

9.5/10A gem of an eatery in the gothic district of Barcelona. Everything was superb. The owner and all the food are from the Basque region. From start to finish the experience couldn't have been better. Will definitely return.

10/10The service there was the best I've had in Barcelona. It was a great meal -- I love how they let you have the pintxos to start, and then you can sit down for your main course afterwards. Also, the wine selection is very impressive, and it's not some over priced tourist trap -- everything there is fair value. Really impressed, and that's coming from a local!

10/10Recommended by a friend a few years ago, decided to try on a Sunday (yes! They’re open) evening. Our waiter was so informed and helpful in our ordering. The food - spectacular! Try the aged beef - and the..... oh, try everything it’s all delicious.

6.5/10We booked in for a meal at 7pm this week. We cannot fault the service the tidy restaurant, and the starters were very goog, we had a salad and local sausage . For the main course we had what we thought was a beef steak. You buy this by weight per 100g. We were advised it was large so we shared this but we were not asked how we liked this cooked ? It actually was like a big t bone and on the bone. It had only been cooked for for a Minuit or two at best it was rare and in places raw and slimy . I feel we shd have been asked how we wanted it cooked. Hence our low score.

9/10Very cosy tapas bar. Nost of the tapas were delicious. Maybe beer could be 0,5l. I think big one was only 0,4l but I guess it is like this in Spain.

9.5/10IRATI is a hidden treasure in the middle of La Rambla. The best part of the restaurant is the unbelievable service and friendliness of the staff. The food was delicious and note that reservations are accepted for the dining area in the back of the restaurant. Quiet, clean, and roomy!

10/10What a great dining experience! We ate in the sit-down section of the restaurant, not the tapas bar. As typical Americans, we were seated at 7:00, so the restaurant area was uncrowded. Oihana, who appeared to be the manager, guided us through the menu. To start, we were served tasty Basque sausages with a rustic bread. Oihana recommended a Rioja which was reasonably priced and excellent! Due to a little language confusion, we ended up getting more than we could eat—wonderful, farm fresh tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms with an “egg sauce,” and lettuce salad in addition to the main course. Husband had duck with figs. Pertfectly cooked duck and the figs were yummy. I had San Sebastián style fish stew. I enjoyed the clams and fish, but the broth was a bit too fishy for my taste. On the menu is aged beef which you can order in 100 gm (3 Oz) portions. A fun place to eat. The staff is engaged and liking serving you!

3.5/10Disappointed! Ordered the hake fillet with sauce. The fish was raw in the middle and I mean really raw! Told the waitress, she took it back to to kitchen and returned in a new plate. All they did was to scoop out the undercooked bits and patch it all together best the could. It was cold ( room temperature) and messy. paid 26e for the privilege of eating cold undercooked fish with creamed potatoes. The rest was ok . Tuna tartare was good but I have eaten better ones in barcelona. The Pate' was also average. The Seafood ravioli (probably just dark crabmeat) not for my taste and I do love seafood. The bread was good. Expensive and not worth the money.

10/10This place was recommended by a friend. Food was excellent! We had just come from San Sebastian and the meal was true to the famous Basque style food. The tomato salad was so good we ordered two. The bread was the best bread we had on our entire trip. Stuffed crab was great and so were the peppers and fish. Service was outstanding as well. One of our favorite meals on our 2-week trip, highly recommend!
