Different, fusion touch, really nice! Again ... ;) So nice to have a place where food is prepared with love. The one thing I'd appreciate is a nice alcohol free G&T and/or aperol spritz, to add some sparkle to an already nice evening and dinner :)

Fresh and flavourful dishes and really good service. Very much liked the steady service with individual plates one at a time rather than what many small plate restaurants do ie 4 dishes at once. Definitely going back.

These were some of the tastiest bites I have enjoyed anytime, anywhere. The shrimp gyoza in a thai green chili coconut sauce were out of this world. The cocktails were thoughtfully mixed and the desserts were a stellar end. It is a small place, creatively decorated. We had a lovely long lunch there and look forward to coming back again.

It’s been raining in Lagos for over 30 straight days, and my wife and I were looking for a quiet brunch place where we could find a parking spot. Irreverente is new to us, and reading the reviews on Google Maps, it was an easy choice. The only downside is that there was one table with 2 or 3 young, rambunctious children, so the ambience was not the romantic, quiet atmosphere we desired. But that could happen anywhere. Nelson greeted us warmly, an offered their wine list on his iPad. Our “go-to” on Sundays is generally Champagne, but we opted for a Sauvignon Blanc. The bottle was €28. Expensive for the Algarve when bottles of white wine can be found €11-16, and often a 1L carafe of house wine for under €8. The food was fantastic. Our first choice was the roasted octopus, but they were out of that. So we shared the edamame, beet carpaccio with burrata, and an incredible roasted sea bass. The meal was an OMG experience. It was a bit expensive at about €90 with tip. Still, we will return!

Tasty homemade authentic food! Not the ordinary, but special. You can taste the love. Extra happy with the sharing concept as this meant I got to taste five different dishes 😋 Friendly people!

Wonderful food that is just that little bit different, with attention to detail. Ideal for sharing. The hosts own and run the restaurant with heart, you can tell. Really personal. We will definitely be back!

After too many plates of overcooked fish and mushy vegetables served with a large plate of fries or boiled potatoes this was like an oasis. Thank you. For this solo diner the portions were perfect, the food tasty and the ambiance friendly. It was just what I needed.

Outstanding range of tapas size dishes served one at a time for sharing . Each individually brilliant and collectively excellent. Interesting range of cocktails and very fairly priced wine list. Very small place so book ahead and allow the time to really enjoy the experience

Nelson our waiter was elite. The food and drinks were fantastic, I wish we ordered more. When I return to Lagos, this is the first place I’m going back to eat at. Thank you for everything.

Very high standard of food, service and wine suggestions. We went for our wedding anniversary and we were treated very well, I really do recommend.

Food is more than great. Quality is totally good as well as creativity is high. We loved the Portuguese Blue cheese, both creamy as well as the perfect salty bite on the tongue. The crunchy ball of tartare with piri piri pearls was very tasty and same goes for the duck dumpling with ponzu. Understood they have a new menu in October. Well, it s a one hour drive, but we ll be there!

Let’s get straight to the food (and the cocktails) - beautifully presented, tasted amazing. The hosts were very passionate about their dishes and their cocktails, which shone through in the tasting. If the liquid tiramisu is still on the dessert menu, it’s a must! An unassuming venue from the outside but they have added their unique style.

A restaurant that has amazing food options and the kindest service. Definitely do not miss to book a reservation here as you will have a great time! Wish we could try the whole menu during our reservation! I don’t drink and they were kind enough to make me a mocktail! Highly recommended restaurant!

We had the most amazing dinner at Irreverente! Stunningly flavorful tapas. Everything we tried from the fresh bread at the start to the tiramisu espresso martini for dessert was the best we ever had. Fantastic, friendly service and incredibly impressive food considering the compact cooking area. Would recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for an unforgettable dinner in Lagos!

Exceptional and innovative sharing plates. Really top quality presentation and flavours. International cuisine with a twist. Excellent wines and tempting cocktails. Service was relaxed, friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend, but booking recommended as it’s a small restaurant.

When we arrived, the menu was different from what is listed here and on Google Maps. There are no hot dishes, only appetizers. We tried about six options, most of which were very spicy and made us very thirsty. The portions are designed for one or two people; it's a small snack rather than a full meal. The average cost of a dish is around €15-20. The service was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant.
