+4Great dinner with my wife and daughter . The food was great and the service awesome. MY ONLY negative is it comes fast and furious - we have our first 3 dishes within 7 minutes of sitting and did not even have our cocktails . This detracts from the quality .

10/10I had good expectations about this restaurant and it was way better than I expected. The staff were both super friendly and professional and it’s very worthy. Every plate was made with the best quality. I went there with my girlfriend and we asked for recommendations because it was our first experience in a restaurant like this and the staff was great. I really recommend it, we will definitely go back!

8/10I very much enjoyed having dinner at Izakaya. All the staff were extremely nice and welcoming, and the design is great. We appreciate your hospitality! In terms of food, we particularly liked the karaage and the katsusando. On the latter, I think it would benefit from a thicker cutlet. A minor comment/feedback on the okonomiyaki, which is my favourite dish. As someone lucky enough to have eaten it in Japan and at Abeno in London, the size was small and the flavor of the mayo was too dominant. Lastly, I think a very interesting addition to the menu would be the eggsando, which is a light and very tasteful option.

9/10Most of the dishes were top class. Overall excellent. The only thing we did not appreciate was the music. Too loud and not of the kind appreciated by seniors. But we are impressed anyway.

9/10The menu is outstanding and top quality of ingredients and skilled cookers. I only wish it would have a bit of my elbow room space but I understand the place is setup the way it is. This time they were a bit slow between dishes but still it was a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend for the food and if you don’t mind to be seated in a bar fashion with loud music and heat from the kitchen.

Izakaya Cascais has captured a perfect combination of offering patrons outstanding ambience, truly delicious food and second-to-none service from the entire staff. The bonus attribute was cleanliness in which every square inch of counter space and cooking area was regularly wiped. From the moment my wife and I walked into the restaurant, we were on the receiving end of attention from its staff--professional on one end and outrageously humorous on the other. We recommend anyone who lives or visits Cascais to book lunch or diner at Izakaya Cascais. Your stay will surely please you.

+2Izakaya Cascais has a great vibe and definitely stands out in Cascais. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our table, which isn’t surprising given how small the space is, interesting concept, but a bit tight. The music selection is amazing and really elevates the experience. The lemonade and the sandwich were easily among the best we’ve had this year. The food is good and well executed, but slightly overpriced, so if you’re not careful, the bill can get quite expensive.

9.5/10Everything about the meal was wonderful. The food was exquisite- I enjoyed what was literally the best prawns I had ever tasted in the 50 years of my life. We were sat close to the door, so there was a bit of a draft, but this didn’t ruin the experience at all. The staff were excellent and provided great recommendations. Thank you!
