10/10The design of the restaurant is warm and good looking. The service is excellent particularly due to the involvement of Chef Jacques. The food, classic french, is really tasty and brings perfect matches. Some dishes are unique like the pigeon. Beautiful set up and incredible taste. With no doubt the best one I ever had.

4/10Service seemed a bit off for a one-star restaurant (wine/water not being refilled). Some parts of some of the dishes were interesting, but there was a lack of innovation beyond pressing (pressed potato and foie entree, pressed lamb, pressed cheese), and the flavors were sometimes more assaulting than refined. Wine recommended by chef was ok. Unfortunately, we left unclear what Michelin had seen in this restaurant and a bit disappointed at 175€ a person.

4/10We were not given the right menu. Wine pairing was very ungenerous Service was nice but below ecpectation ( said that the fish was someting else, did not serve the wine in time with the food). Overcharged for a bottle of water, which they did not have to. Food was average. Overall, very overated experience, an amator team, average foid, overpriced, and trying to overcharge us. Disapointed by both the fork and michelin recommendation

Si nous comprenons et nous excusons pour votre temps d'attente lors de cette soirée -nous aurions souhaité être plus efficaces à votre table, le restaurant était complet ce soir-là-, nous vous trouvons un peu dure et votre commentaire cinglant, d'autant que vous n'avez rien laissé paraître et auriez pu nous en parler. S'il y a eu surfacturation, ce n'est évidemment pas volontaire, il n'est pas dans nos pratiques de flouer nos clients ! Quant à la quantité de vin servie lors d'un accord, les verres -et nous l'annonçons- ne sont jamais aussi pleins qu'un verre servi pour un choix de vin unique. Nous regrettons n'avoir su et pu vous offrir un meilleur moment dans notre établissement.

10/10We dined at this fine restaurant at the recommendation of a friend who dines at Michelin star restaurants for a living and we were super impressed. Service was friendly and knowledgeable including the sommelier whose recommendation we thoroughly enjoyed. The food was out of this world. Every course on the set menu was delicious and well executed. The stand-outs were the specialties of the house--potato millefeuille and foie gras and the flambeed pigeon WOW Nothing like we've experienced before. Bravo Chef! The ambiance is pretty, clean and chic. We so enjoyed seeing the Chef on the floor helping and serving. A tribute to his kitchen's expertise to deliver fabulous food. And it was such a treat to meet Chef Faussat. He is as charming and handsome as his cuisine.

10/10A wonderful small restaurant. It’s January and restaurants are almost empty. Only one other party at lunch. Restaurant had lost heating, but every table had a space heater, so it was very toasty. Food and service were excellent. Interesting cuisine with a kind of Japanese influence. Highly recommend.

10/10OMG WHAT AN AMAZING MEAL AND SERVICE! Best meal I’ve ever had! The staff were so welcoming and kind and gave us a Michelin experience. A meal I will never forget. We even got to meet the chef because he was helping at the front of house. Incredible experience! Thank you for our making our engagement dinner one to always remember!

9.5/10Really and truly some of the best food I have eaten in the last few years at an excellent price point, and I frequently eat at other Michelin starred restaurants in both France and the United States. Superb, sublime, amazing. Very friendly staff as well.

8/10Food was very good and creative. Only reason for the not “excellent” rating was they did not honor the menu I booked on TheFork when making the reservation.- Accord Vins en supplément du Menu Découverte €50. Therefore, cost was a lot higher than expected.

7.5/10My husband and I were visiting from Canada with our toddler. They were accommodating when I had emailed them indicating that my kid would obviously not participate in the tasting menu and said that we could bring a meal of our own for her since they don’t have kid friendly foods, so I really appreciated that! The food from the tasting menu was delicious but unfortunately before dessert they offered us an extra cheese course but did not tell us the cost - we opted for it and we’re shocked when we were charged €22 each for a small sliver of cheese! Also it was eerily quiet in the restaurant (no music and seemed like no talking from guests) which made it sort of weird for dining. Overall good food but not as affordable for getting the additional cheese course and definitely not a place that was super toddler friendly.

10/10We would never have found this unassuming little restaurant if we had not seen very favorable recommendations and ratings on-line. We recommended making a reservation on-line. The service was professional and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The dishes were creative, visually appealing and very delicious. We will never forget this culinary experience in Paris.

A welcoming chef, who clearly loves his craft. Michelin star food without pretentiousness. The food alone is worth visiting Paris again. Thank you, Chef.

9.5/10The restaurant was wonderful! The service was quite impressive as the chef was kind enough to personally make a pasta dish especially for my daughters (picky eaters) and the dish was delicious! Thank you for your kindness and hospitality and a delicious meal. You must try the pigeon, if it is available.

10/10We wanted to dine at a Michelin-star restaurant while in Paris and found Jacques Faussat on The Fork and made reservations. The venue is very small and intimate - seating perhaps 30-40 people at most. The service is attentive and focused. And the food was amazing. I definitely recommend eating here!

We're sorry that your dinner was not a good experience. Your review really surprises us especially as you seemed satisfied leaving our restaurant. You should have told us. We do our job with heart. On the contrary you prefer to comment in this way to harm us...whereas you seemed to compliment us when we removed your plates. We do not understand.

4.5/10We found this place to be way overpriced for the quality of the experience and expected much more considering it has a Michelin star. The food was rather bland and not well thought out from an experience perspective- strange order, proportions, etc- the portions were small, and the service was careless - we weren’t offered a glass of wine with our main dish until it was almost gone (I had maybe two bites left on my plate) and they didn’t do basic things like refill water and tidy up crumbs from the table. The server left before our meal was done which wouldn’t have been a problem except she clearly didn’t communicate our order to her coworkers and our digestive never arrived until we gave up and just decided to leave instead. Would certainly never return.

We’re sorry your experience was so bad and also surprised, with regard to the care we try to bring to each our clients and to the number of positive feedbacks we have every day. We’re suffering from a lack of staff, what could explain a number of breaches that we’re the first to regret, depend upon it and we’re very sorry if communication went wrong that day between our teams. We understood that you wanted your digestives after your desserts ; you then told us you wanted to cancel them. Concerning wine, you told us you only wanted one glass. We take your comments into account of course and we would have liked you tell us directly.

5/10We were only in Paris for a few days and were really looking forward to the experience of a Michelin star restaurant. There were a few things that really disappointed us. First, getting the wine menu was a chore - so much so that we received our starters before the wine was poured. Second, two people in our group ordered beef. It was so difficult to cut that one person almost gave up on eating her meal. Not sure if it was the cut, preparation, or just very dull cutlery but I have never experienced anything like it before. And last, the person attending to our table mixed up the desert orders. When the desserts were served, we mentioned this and were told that we had ordered as delivered. Later the chef offered to fix it but by then it was really too late. This was a terribly disappointing experience for a bill of more than 300 euros.

We are sorry you came out so disappointed...and a little bit surprised too. We had no taken the measure of it as much you have not told us, so we write you back. Because of the late hour and the number of people, we have indeed made a slower service than we would have liked and we apologize for that. It's due to a cruel lack of employees too...as many confreres unfortunately. About your meat, of course if you don't like something or if there is a problem with a dish, it goes back to the kitchen and we come back with another. But your main-courses plates came back empty, so we are very astonished at the reading of the tone of your message. About your dessert, acording to us there was no error with the order, but Sofia offered to change it. Lastly, your bill indeed amounted to €317 because of a wine you chose in our wine card for €99 the bottle, almost a third of your bill finally. Regards.

10/10Visiting Paris for our 30th year anniversary. Selected several Michelin star restaurants including Jacques Faussat. The food, service and atmosphere at Jacques Faussat was outstanding. My wife and I had the 3 course dinner. We also did the extras such as potatoe truffle starter, the pigeon and the soufflé. The potatoe truffle and foi gras starter was delectable. The pigeon was finished at table side with Armagnac. Had the wine pairing which was spot on. The dessert wine was spectacular. The service was equally as good. Jacques and his assistant, a delightful and cheery personality from Italy are the only 2 taking care of the service. There are about 10 tables so it was very manageable and just great service. You felt like you. were in someone’s home that was an expert at cooking.. highly recommend Jacques Faussat for a gourmet experience.

10/10Love love love everything about m experience with this restaurant. From the warmth of the service, the delicious food and the spectacular chef who made sure all of his diners are served well. Their little place is a slice of heaven and comfort. My new favorite pesto in the world. Cheers Chef Jacques and his whole staff!
