I was sitting outside, but when I went to the bathroom I realised the fantastic interior. The vegetarian options could be better, as the Indian kitchen has great vegetarian food as well, and Jalal only has a few.

Had a great meal at Jalal in Bolzano. We ordered the daal soup, which had a well-balanced flavor with cumin that wasn't too strong. The samosas were crispy, tasty, and generously filled with vegetables and potatoes – a hit with the kid too. Both the chicken biryani and sabzi biryani were outstanding. The chicken was tender and flavorful, while the vegetarian option was packed with a variety of vegetables and aromatic spices. The restaurant has a lovely courtyard for outdoor seating, set inside a beautiful ancient building. The location is great, right in the historical center of Bolzano. Jalal is an excellent spot to enjoy something different from the usual Italian fare. The food is delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try new flavors in Bolzano.
