7/10The risotto was absolutely delicious! The garlic bread was good. The lemonade was too sweet (I like without any sugar). The pavlova was not at all a pavlova, but meringue. It was so hard outside and inside. I could barely crash it without pieces flying from the plate. Also it was way too sweet. It was a shame because the main course was so good, but I left the restaurant feeling queasy.

7.5/10First they didn’t know what a martini was. I ordered a vodka martini and got this stuff called “martini” in a wine glass with ice. It wasn’t bad, and the waitress was so sweet I couldn’t send it back. Food was so so, I had higher expectations. Pricey for value.

10/10First trip to Lisbon and so glad we were able to eat at Jamie’s Italian twice! The food is excellent and we enjoyed the beautiful Principe Real area! Highly recommend!

Our server was lovely and engaging! I like that about a server, it makes me experience pleasurable. The food was DELICIOUS! Four of us each had a different meal and everyone was happy. The ceasar salad was to die for, and I’m hoping to find the recipe on line. The risotto had a burst of fresh basil that left me wanting more. I could go on but suffice it to say you should go there.

Our hotel concierge recommended Jamie’s Italian restaurant in Lisbon and we couldn’t be more thrilled with an incredible evening of amazing food and service! Our waiter, Yaser was outstanding! He was so attentive, friendly and gracious! Yaser was intuitive and engaged to make sure our evening was memorable. He took photos on the rooftop deck with amazing views!! I had the risotto rosso and my husband enjoyed a fabulous seafood linguine. Bravo for a wonderful dining experience!!

We have been to this restaurant several times and usually everything is great. Today however the food was somewhat disappointing. We got 3 mushrooms calzones and all of them had more dough than filling. The filling had no tomato sauce which made it a bit sickening. Another pizza had a very little amount of shrimp. The merengue on top of the lemon cheesecake was a bit raw which again made it sickening. The arancini, the carpaccio and the passion cooler cocktail were really good. The glasses for the water were upside down on table which we thought was unhygienic (the part where we drink from was touching the table). Our waitress did not speak portuguese properly and often did not understand what we were saying, which made our opinion of the service more negative.

We had amazing lunch at Jamie's restaurant. Service was more than perfect, the waiter really took great care of us. Also, we got the best table at the restaurant. Food was delicious and porcions are big.

6.5/10The napkin had red lip stick on the inside fold. We ordered the superfood salad full portion, added grilled chicken, which was dry and tough. The salad seemed like a side salad not a full size. The manager was disgusted at the fact the napkin had red lipstick.

8/10I ordered a favourite but simple dish, Spaghetti Carbonara. Very little sauce and the spaghetti was congealed in to a solid mass, couldn't separate with my fork, had to cut it into chunks. Tasty but not well prepared. I make it much better myself, so disappointing from a top restaurant. It was my second visit in the past 2 years, the first time everything, except other loud guests, was perfect. I've recommended them to friends, will think twice about doing so again. Disappointing because I love J.O.

7.5/10We had a reservation and when we arrived, the manager shrugged and only two tables were occupied. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant. The menu offered a lot of choices, especially for vegetarians and the food was tasty. We had the ravioli and risotto and enjoyed both. But we ordered “seasonal greens” expecting salad and received old broccoli with burnt garlic. We expressed our disappointment and they comped us for one seasonal green. Unfortunately, in a city with thousands of places to eat, this is a mediocre restaurant backed by a famous name. The decor is unimaginative and unwelcoming.

6/10Too noisy! There are some white lights in the room which is awful (in that tables it seems that you are in a Chinese restaurant). The staff is good and polite.

5/10We were excited to check out the Jamie’s having lots of cookbooks of his. We reserved in advance and received the table up the stairs next to the kitchen. Additionally it was very hot upstairs and we could overhear all of the staffs conversation. Long story short not a great table and leaving we saw there was still space downstairs which made it a bit frustrating. We had the shrimp aioli and garlic bread for starters. The shrimp came with yesterday’s lemons and when pointing out the waiter apologized and brought a fresh lemon. Garlic bread was alright, more bread than garlic. Then we had the pasta bolognese, lasagne -which our kids liked-, the steak (which was pretty good) and the carbonara which was alright. Overall a bit underwhelming especially the atmosphere.
