9/10The burgers at Jazz Club Novecento 900 are the best! Great little restuarant in Venice that's off the beaten path. They were playing an Ella F and Louis A album the evening we were there. Their speciality is pizzas but after two weeks of Italian food my wife and I took a flyer and ordered their burger. We are always in search of a great burger and we were not disappointed. The burger was tasty and bun they use for their burgers was a crispy bread that never crumbled. The pizzas ordered by the tables around us did look really good. The restaurant filled up quickly so go early or make a reservation.

3.5/10I was hoping for a night of listening to some jazz music whilst enjoying pizza and wine. I didn’t mind if there was to be no live jazz but the least I did expect was to be able to enjoy some ambient background sounds. Sadly it was not to be. From the minute we arrived there was a sense that we were an inconvenience and the staff would rather be elsewhere. It is an operation predominantly staffed by 20-somethings which may be why there were no jazz vibes. Such a shame and the food wasn’t all that either. This would have been excused had there been a warm welcome and jazzy sounds - none of this happened and I certainly would never recommend this unsatisfactory non-jazz event to anyone.

8/10Great little place with excellent pizza. It’s a bit cheap and cheerful and the service reflects this. Not terrible at all just a bit basic but the pizza is great. We had 2 pizzas and 2 drinks for €40 so can’t complain!!

9/10Authentic pizzeria in San Polo! This establishment serves up the real deal in pizza and we are so glad we chose this quaint spot! There were so many pizzas to choose from that w finally asked our server for her suggestion, and chose the "Rustico" from those. Who would have thought that a pizza with peas on it, Yes... I said peas- along with mozzerella, gorgonzola, red sauce, and soppressata would have been so delish! The crust was thinner and perfectly crisp too! The background overhead jazz tunes were a nice touch to the atmosphere....A must try when in Venice!

6.5/10The Pizza was very good However, the staff, while helpful didn’t make us feel very welcome. I felt we were inconveniencing them by our being there. We had to find the location which if you are not familiar with Venice and it’s dark and your WiFi doesn’t hold because of all the tall buildings, can take a 10 minute walk and turn it into 45 mins. This is what happened to us. But then to feel like we weren’t wanted there, well, that just ruined the visit. Also, when I heard the term “jazz club” and I read reviews that say they enjoyed the music, I’m expecting musicians of some sort not cd’s being played in the background with pictures of Dizzy Guilestpie starting down from the walls. I don’t think we will be going back there.

9/10Really great meal and atmosphere. The barman was great, and we had a nice couple of Scots-Whiskeys afterwards. We returned for more Whisky on other nights, because the atmosphere was very good and we met a couple of local people who recommended this place.

9/10Lovely atmospheric restaurant. Our table was waiting when we got there. The waiter was very genial and the food ordered went down very well. We loved the wine carafes!
