9/10We went to JJ regularly when we lived in Paris several years ago and loved the food and the ambience. When we returned, it was a pleasant surprise to find that both were even better than we remembered. It’s a neighborhood treasure that has aged well.

10/10From the moment we walked in we were warmly welcomed and made to feel comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful and gave our group of 8 all the information we needed when choosing our meals and wine. Thank you to JJ and especially the waiter!

10/10We had a really nice meal at this restaurant for a birthday celebration. The staff were very helpful and the food was gorgeous. They also catered very well for kids. This is a lovely authentic French restaurant.

9/10Last night in Paris. Loved it all, was looking forward to a great special menu, heard so many people comment how great it was. Ours was great favor but not as amazing daily menu, which happens in life, tomorrow it will change, so nothing wrong, totally enjoyed our evening, food was on spot, was hopeful for menu others had, but such is life, would always return any night.

9.5/10Great little neighborhood bistro. Nice atmosphere. A lot of locals dining there as well. Service was a little slow after the place filled up around 9:00. I found this too be the case in many places we went to though because they all seem to only have 2 waitstaff maximum working the entire restaurant.

5.5/10The appetiser (ravioli with truffle ricotta) and the creme brûlée was good. However the ribeye steak had a lot of non-edible parts. Also the aubergines that came with the meat were bitter. Tbh me and my parents were a bit disappointed.

10/10Booked a table for one as I was on a Business trip, and wanted some quite down time away from bustling crowds. Really warm welcome as I walked in. Great service and great food. Steak cooked perfectly. Everything washed down with a (generous) half bottle of Red Wine. Lovely small restaurant with great rustic ambiance. Such a great find off the main track. Would definitely eat here again.

10/10My family of 5 (kids ages 12, 10 and 7) had the best experience at this restaurant! Food and service were excellent! Don't skip dessert! We loved the chocolate cake and creme brulee!

6.5/10I think this restaurant has a lot of potential, but on this particular evening, it was a bit off. The service staff was super nice, and very accommodating, but we noticed that of the four sides they brought, one of them was incorrect, and it needed to be returned. They fixed it promptly, but still, this is something that should be always flawless. Our party of four ordered three of the rump steak fillets, and one fish of the day. The fish was quite good, and two of the rump steaks that were cooked medium rare were also delicious. However, the other steak should’ve been cooked medium, and it was well done. They took it back to the kitchen to prepare another one, and that one came out rare. We sent it back a second time, and it came out almost medium, but still not quite. By this time, three of us had finished our meal, and one of us was just getting started on the steak. We ended up taking the one steak home. In other nice restaurants, this meal with typically not be charged for, and we were a bit surprised at all we got was an apology. The desserts we ordered were delicious. So, overall, we might give this restaurant another try in the future, but it probably would not be our first choice.

10/10I am giving this restaurant very high marks, but I want to provide some context. I wanted to find a relatively affordable, normal bistro in a pretty expensive part of Paris. This fit the bill. Cozy and warm, and they were so kind to this solo traveler. Bill was about what I'd pay for dinner and wine in my neighborhood. Exactly what I wanted.
