10/10Really enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. We went with the shorter of the offered tasting menus (6 courses I think!). Every dish was of very high quality and consistent standard - no duds. Would definitely go back. Service was great too!

8/10Cute terrace restaurant in the back streets of Amsterdam. We went on a Wednesday night and it was quiet, with only half the restaurant full. There were a few surprise and delight moments as part of the menu and having the tasting menu was definitely a great experience! Worth the money and definitely would go back!

10/10It was one of the best diners I had. A day before I had a dinner at 1 M star in London and this one was much better. The falvours ideas and combinations! And it would not be the same if it was not for our waiter who was the STAR!!!

8/10Very nice restaurant, really excellent food presented in a very refined way. Really disappointed because after making the reservation we visited the restaurant the day before our date and a table in the second floor was shown us as our table for the next day. As we arrived, on time, the table was taken and we were place at the ground floor. Not nice, not professional.

10/10Every course, we had the 6 course dinner, was , I can't find the adjectives, layer upon layer of flavors. A surprise combination of flavors with each course. My tongue was in heaven . You MUST eat here, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy !!!!

10/10Outstanding food and service. The chef created a special menu to take account of my dietary issues and my partner not being a great lover of fish. The first amuse bouche, a macaroon filled with Thai soup may be one of the most amazing things I’ve ever tasted, this was followed by course after course of delicious morsels of fish, black seaweed, lovage broth, etc. the service was perfect, Luigi took good care of us, and the espresso martini was also very good. The price seemed very reasonable for a Michelin starred restaurant. Beautiful ambience, well-spaced tables. I would recommend to anyone!

10/10We went for the ´Special Michelin’ menu and it was excellent. The chef prepares very fine dishes with very various tastes. It was a great experience. The service was perfect as well : efficient, kind, simple. We felt totally at ease. Last but not least, it is really affordable. For this quality in Paris it would cost you twice the price.

10/10I had a wonderful evening as a solo diner at John Dory. Each dish was delicious and just the right amount of conceptual. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Trust their wine advice! Everything offered great. The atmosphere wasn't pretentious at all. I will definitely return.

8.5/10Fine dining. Excellent seafood, beatifully presented. We started with a glass of Champagne (Lacourte Godbillon) and a platter of oysters (Irish MOR and Gillardeau - the former type is more robust and more to my taste). We selected the 6 course menu and enjoyed the taste sensations. We had a mixed experience concerning the service. The table reserved for us was located at an unappealing spot. Fortunately there still were some unoccupied tables to switch. The waiter who served us was very friendly and helpful, the waitress though was less so and inattentive. The location is supurb and the ambiance is intimate and romantic, though except one ugly decorative panel (not matching with the style of the restaurant) and some blank screens (for sound isolation??) wall decoration is missing. Water and a plate of amuses is served for free, which is a nice gesture. The champagne at € 20 per glas and wine at € 37 per bottle are rather pricey, the 6 course menu for € 75 pp is priced very reasonable given the supurb quality. Overall recommended.
