10/10This was our 4th visit to this restaurant. We chose the 5 course chef's choice, and had oysters and caviar at the start as a beginning course. excellent food,service and atmosphere. Here's to a future of dining here

10/10It is rare to eat something that makes you take pause and genuinely surprises you. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Short menu tells you how fresh / seasonal the ingredients are . One of the best meals we have had in the last few years anywhere! Staff all engaging and helpful. Will be going back and taking friends.

9/10Subtle flavour combinations and quality cookery. Service was too relaxed and lacked detail. I am surprised they do not do a wine flight, as it is impossible to pick a wine when you don’t know what the dishes are! Restaurant was half empty on a Friday night and had little atmosphere.

10/10We had a fantastic meal tonight including very thoughtful modifications for a gluten-free diner. Highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or making every day special. 🥰

6.5/10The menu was well prepared and creative. The wine selection was focused with some unique discoveries. The service was slow and our main server was less than helpful and disinclined to do her job.

10/10Really enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. We went with the shorter of the offered tasting menus (6 courses I think!). Every dish was of very high quality and consistent standard - no duds. Would definitely go back. Service was great too!

8/10Cute terrace restaurant in the back streets of Amsterdam. We went on a Wednesday night and it was quiet, with only half the restaurant full. There were a few surprise and delight moments as part of the menu and having the tasting menu was definitely a great experience! Worth the money and definitely would go back!

10/10We had a wonderful dinner at John Dory last night! The food was well presented with flavours that were both interesting and delicious. The courses were well paced and service was attentive without being intrusive. Altogether, a wonderful dining experience! Thank-you John Dory!

10/10It was one of the best diners I had. A day before I had a dinner at 1 M star in London and this one was much better. The falvours ideas and combinations! And it would not be the same if it was not for our waiter who was the STAR!!!

8/10Very nice restaurant, really excellent food presented in a very refined way. Really disappointed because after making the reservation we visited the restaurant the day before our date and a table in the second floor was shown us as our table for the next day. As we arrived, on time, the table was taken and we were place at the ground floor. Not nice, not professional.

10/10It was my birthday and I have attended with my husband and our godparents. The service was exceptional the food amazingly and the atmosphere fantastic. 10/10Every course, we had the 6 course dinner, was , I can't find the adjectives, layer upon layer of flavors. A surprise combination of flavors with each course. My tongue was in heaven . You MUST eat here, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy !!!!

10/10Outstanding food and service. The chef created a special menu to take account of my dietary issues and my partner not being a great lover of fish. The first amuse bouche, a macaroon filled with Thai soup may be one of the most amazing things I’ve ever tasted, this was followed by course after course of delicious morsels of fish, black seaweed, lovage broth, etc. the service was perfect, Luigi took good care of us, and the espresso martini was also very good. The price seemed very reasonable for a Michelin starred restaurant. Beautiful ambience, well-spaced tables. I would recommend to anyone!
