Really outstanding food and impeccable service. I love that the chef comes out and asks how your food is and what your spice tolerance level is. He clearly loves what he does. Don’t hesitate just go to this restaurant you will not be let down!

We were met at the door and escorted to our table right away, although we were a few minutes early for our reservation. Within a few minutes we had menus and beverages, and our order was taken. We chose the rice table, and were not disappointed- the soup and dumpling starters were outstanding, and the variety and quality of our entrees were top notch.

Excellent dinner at this restaurant. Each dish was beautifully presented, delicious food coupled with first class service. Only minor downside was our table was located up against the bar area, so felt a little cramped with limited space. Other than that, absolutely first class evening. Relaxed, calm and unpretentious. Highly recommend dinner here.

We had a delightful meal at Jun Indonesian Cuisine. The space is beautifully decorated. The service is responsive, warm, and professional. The drinks and wine were wonderful but it was the food that stood out! We had the rijsttafel which gave us an opportunity to try many different dishes of Indonesian cuisine. Each one was incredible. The owner is a delight. Kind and welcoming, he spoke with each customer. He explained the dishes to us in detail which was much appreciated. If you are in Amsterdam, it would be worth your while to have dinner at this gem of a restaurant. Thank you for a fantastic evening!

Highly recommend! Excellent food, service and cozy environment. Had the sampling rice menu which allowed us to taste so many delicious delicacies. You definitely need to make a reservation!

We found a hair in our food, and they tried to convince us it was a strand of lemongrass. No way! Food was mediocre and way too overpriced. I am shocked that this place gets such great reviews. My advice—- look elsewhere for Indonesian food.

We 4 Americans learned about the rice table from travel books/shows and we wanted to try it. We have also been to Indonesia and enjoyed the food there. Found this place on Google and it looked good. It was excellent! Food delicious and the staff was beyond nice and accommodating. Will return on our next trip to Amsterdam and plan to recommend it to our friends.
