9.5/10Sanya our hostess was wonderful. She greeted us with warmth and lots of positive energy. She suggested that we let her do the ordering so we did. Delicate dumplings, followed by a salmon tartar and finally a plate of many different kinds of fresh, raw fish! All prepared beautifully. She paired it all with the perfect wine from Douro. We would return again!

7/10The restaurant and service is nice but the food is very over priced. There are much better sushi restaurants in Portugal where you can get more suchi of a higher quality for less. We paid almost €100 for a small bowl of miso soup, some gyoza, a small variety of sashimi and some soft crab roles. I would not recommend here.

Thank you for your comment. You had the menu and you decided to order. Please don’t complain for top quality fish. Next time if you are not comfortable then just leave and would prefer you eat at a place that fits your budget.

9.5/10a foodies delight. the Sushi was a surprise in quality and taste. soft shell crab urimaki delicious and the rainbow urimaki equally. Don´t miss the dessert ! there is only one choice, but you will want a 2nd serving. service is excellent. will be back soon.

10/10We have eaten sushi at some of the "best" around, but nothing compares with Ka Sushi Cave. Sanya and her husband were amazing hosts, full of customized recommendations based on our preferences, and many new dishes. We cannot stop talking about the best dinner we've ever had, through our vast travels and experiences.

10/10We are only in Cascais for two nights and fortunately we chose to dine here. Fantastic sushi and a memorable evening. The quality of the food was unsurpassable. Highly recommend the Tuna !

10/10Beautiful restaurant clean modern with lovely exposed stone walls, spotless - food was excellent beautifully presented and so fresh and excellent quality. The restaurant was not busy but this might be because it’s a bit pricier than the more touristy restaurants around Cascais and people may not expect to pay as much for sushi but the food is of a very high standard you pay for what you get!

6/10I’ve eaten at a number of sushi restaurants, this one was mediocre. There weren’t a lot of roll choices and nearly $9 euro for edamame - which is insane especially when many sushi restaurants provide complimentary. The spicy tuna roll was actually too spicy.

Thank you for your review. The reason is called spicy is for a reason. You were warned that the spicy tuna was spicy and you were fine with it. Secondly put edamame is a good size portion. You had the menu and you saw the prices so please stop complaining. You could had the choice to sit and order so don’t complain. Nobody forces you to eat and stay at the restaurant. Think twice before writing.

9.5/10Great Sushi ! Perfect Host ! They were already responsive to our messages before the dinner ! Called us even to arrange our requests ! And the owner even served us as great family restaurant ! We loved the foods and our favorites were Spicy Tuna and the Crab ones !

10/10Fantastic sushi and service in a quiet little restaurant in the heart of Cascais. Sanya & Rune, the owners, ensured every little detail was perfect. We had sashimi and a salmon roll, along with some edamame as a starter. I highly recommend!!

4.5/10Food and service was mediocre, and the price level was did not match. Visited because of otherwise great reviews but must have been unlucky. The place is in a quite location in Cascais which is a bit rare.

Thank you for your review. . Why do people think that fish is cheap because we are in portugal. Secondly why do you order when one has seen the menu and the price. If the price does not fit your wallet then please go somewhere else. Nobody is asking you to stay. Yes we are the best when it comes to sushi. We don’t compete with no one but we are consistent and the fish is fresh as it can be and top notch quality. So next time as advice don’t eat or order if the price is not right. Sushi is not cheap and if you want cheap there are a lot of all you can eat sushi places.
