Don’t book this restaurant through this platform. When I arrived at the restaurant, they kept on telling me that they didn’t have my booking. When I showed them the address, they pointed me to the opposite side. I double checked again on the booking and address. I returned and talked to a senior woman, then she said in Mandarin “我不看這個” (I don’t read this booking)! It is meaningless to book. They offered us a table, service was bad, food was so -so.

The sushi was pretty good! My main issue was the atrocious service. We had a reservation at 7:45 and did not get seated till about 8:15. They did not even seem aware of our reservation. The sushi was good, but the chicken teriyaki was not the best. It tasted like no one ordered it and we were just getting what was left in the fridge. We ordered another round of sushi because we were still hungry and they forgot about us. We spent another 30 min to hour waiting for 2 more rolls. We then attempted to get dessert and asked for the check. We had a full conversation with our waitress about the flavor of mochi we wanted. 20 min later they brought us the check and basically was asking us to leave. We got there at 7:35 and did not leave till 10:30 PM which would have been fine if half of the time wasn’t spent waiting to see if they remembered us.

Wonderful food! Terrific service. And surprisingly beautiful Japanese instrumental music.
