Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent! But the absolute best was the raspberry pie! So glad we had our dinner here!

We tried the pasta of the day and the Swedish meatballs. The meatball dish was very good and the pasta was also good. Will recommend

Good traditional restaurant. Service was a bit to ´present´ and things seemed to have to go fast although the place wasn´t full. Were there at 19h50 and finished at around 9h00. But... good food and polite people.

The combination of music, dinner, wine and company

Excellent location. Cozy atmosphere. Traditional Swedish dishes. Our server was very nice and was able to accommodate our gluten free dietary needs. Very knowledgeable about possible cross contamination.

Upon entry we immediately felt unwelcome. Even though I had a booking, the front of house guy just shunted us (two) to a table for four. There was an unlit candle on the table but he just literally dropped menus and went off. After 15 mins I asked if we could get a candle lit so we could read the menu. After tutting the guy did that and immediately a female stood over us to take our order. We had, using our mobile phones, decided what we wanted and ordered. Within a few minutes the waitress returned to say there was no white wine (for my wife). They only had a choice of three so how could they have run out?? When our food came we ate and just asked for the bill. The waitress then had the temerity to ask for a tip!! I advised her that we have never, in 45 years of travelling, felt so unwelcome and she was surprised! It doesn't sit well with me giving a negative review but really, if you're reading this, find somewhere else.

A great little find next to the Royal Palace right on the edge of Gamla Stan. My team and I really enjoyed the service from Jonny and his team at Kaffegillet, and the traditional Swedish cuisine was excellent in my opinion. A real hidden gem in a quaint little location.

Food was great! We asked to sit downstairs no one was there at the time and it was really cool, dimly lit with candles and very atmospheric. Plank steak was excellent, very good beef (although it comes from Uruguay, not Europe or Sweden)

From the outside it looks very small ans imple but inside there is a really nice atmosphere and plenty of space for our group. Gianni was really nice and helpful upfront with organizing the dinner. We were welcomed really nice and had a wonderful evening with good food. I recommend to try the choclate cake, that was my personal highlight :)

Such a nice place. Food was very good, the staff was helping us with food allergies. Prices are reasonable.

The food at this restaurant was excellent. Particularly the reindeer roast with black currant jam. Everything else was also delicious though we were too full to try desserts. We ate their twice as my son wanted the reindeer one more time. I like that there is a variety of options to choose from. They have non swedish dishes like asian style stir fry , spaghetti bolognese along with traditional Swedish dishes, making it easy for a family of 4 with varying tastes. Many other restaurants that had traditional Swedish food didn't have a lot of other options. The stir fry was very good.

The staff was welcoming, the atmosphere is cozy, and the menu is an interesting mix of tradition and easy proposals. The quality of the ingredients is high.

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff, but the food is expensive (par for the course in Stockholm) and extremely bland (which also seems to be par for the course for Swedish food!)

we were excited to go to the cave and have a Nordic experience but there was a big reservation. that was very disappointing. the servce was great though and so was the ambiance. quite warm and cozy. the food was overall good, I totally recommend the beef. the chocolate cake was pure heaven

Nice little place next to the castle. Typical food and friendly staff. Expensive compared to central Europe, in the average of the prices in the area. Would return.

Very good traditional food, not too crowed (we had dinner there at 8pm on a Monday). I recommend the Swedish meatballs.
