8.5/10The venue is beautiful and the food/service excellent. My only issue is the following: (1) I had made my booking under the 50% discount advertised on The Fork. However, (2) the restaurant didn’t give us the discount!

My oldest son’s name is Kais. Same spelling as the restaurant. We met up with friends and family that are also, like my immediate family, from the U.S. My youngest son celebrated his birthday the night we visited Kais restaurant. All that back story, and the stars aligned. The restaurant was amazing. The food was delicious, from appetizers to main courses. The staff was amazing, supportive, efficient, and prompt. We highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10What an amazing place, based in an old tram maintenance shed with oodles of ambience, we loved all the candles. Staff very professional, attentive and friendly. Fabulous cocktails and a great menu, we would definitely visit again.

A beautiful environment with the worst service I've ever had in all of Europe. And expect to spend €50/person to eat mediocre dishes. 2hrs wait to be seated even with a reserved table. The waiters simply ignored you or treated you rude even to ask for a simple drink at the bar while waiting almost 2 hrs. Mediocre quality food with a premium price tag. The only good thing is the ambience. You'll have plenty of time to see it since they simply don't care about the hour you have reserved your table. I'll never go to this restaurant again.

10/10Super tasty food! Great venue and very professional service! We tried steaks, vine, porto, bear and dessert - all of them top quality, very well served. Venue is as impressive as food.

4/10The majestic room is not available/open for most of the days. Even with a 50% off, this is just a boogie, low-class experience, with average food, poor cocktails and cute service. Kais feels like a wannabe place, for people who want to feel fancy, can’t normally afford it and fail in the attempt. The ambience is tacky, unsofisticated, with outdated music and a deep lack of identity. Kais feels like a poorly drawn stereotype of a Russian villain on a James Bond film, in a fake Ikea set with Aldi quality alcohol. I feel ashamed and scammed for taking this offer. #TouristTrap

4.5/10Taking the order was long and a bit of a wait for service. I ordered a rare entrecôte which was not really rare and also had a fishy taste, probably due to the use of a unique grill. Passable wine. My wife's dish was very, very average. The server was friendly and fulfilled his role. The environment facing the Tagus was most pleasant.

10/10Staff were really nice to us, helped with the menu and proposed the perfect wine with our dish. The view on the harbor is amazing, we were there during sunset and had a great view, just sitting outside in a breeze and enjoying the great food and drink.

2/10Dessertes restaurant! Old school, tacky and looks like it was good in the old golden days. Quality of the food is low, nothing was fresh everything tasted stale and unfresh! No fallouts and ingredient quality is very low despite the high price tag on the menu items. Save your money and time and look for another place!

9.5/10The cuisine was excellent, the service exemplary, and the setting breathtakingly beautiful. However, I would like to offer a constructive critique regarding the music selection. It felt incongruous with the sophisticated ambiance and high caliber of the restaurant, resembling more of a disco atmosphere rather than complementing the dining experience.

6/10Service was chaotic, inattentive, ignored our feedback to the tough (!) tenderlion / beef fillet. Few guests -not busy at all. Starter garlic shrimp was good, Kais salad disappointed die to almost no sauce. Worst and most expensive dinner we had in Lisbon yet.

Food was delicious, service was excellent, ambience fantastic, great little find. We read the last negative reviews and to be honest we have no idea why they are there! The restaurant manager ordered us a taxi and we were truly looked after. Beautiful building. Thank you so much :)

6.5/10Food Was pretty cold when served. Wine Was served very late - we almost finished eating before Wine Was served. They mixed up taxi’s with us and anorher family - which resulted in an angry taxi driver.

10/10Very good restaurant, nice setting, great staff. Sorry from the Fork that I clicked on a 50% off table but that didn't happen. But my Tuna was missed because of a new menu in their system so we had to wait a bit longer, got an apology and free of charges tuna meal. Excellent service.

4/10Its very nice restaurant but it was quite cold inside. We ordered vegetarian curry and fish dish. Instead of vegetarian they brought shrimp curry and the fish dish was almost cold. Then they changed the curry for vegetarian version but we couldnt eat at the same time because they had to cook it. The portions are very small for the price and the little bottle of water costs 4 EUR. In the end they made a mistake and included extra water bottle in the bill. They waiters are nice to you but in the end the restaurant is not leaving you with the good impression and I would never go there without 50% promotion prices.

5.5/10I booked a table for 15 people for a corporate event in our company. An important condition was that everyone should sit together, for this reason we chose this restaurant. But when we arrived, it turned out that they had prepared 2 separate tables nearby for us. This, of course, did not suit us, but the manager insisted that they have such a rule and they cannot seat more than 10 people at one table. Even if this is so, they should have warned about this in advance and we would have chosen another restaurant. We are very disappointed, the manager did not even try to help us and was very unpleasant. I do not recommend this restaurant as they can let you down at a crucial moment.

5/10Kais is a wonderous place to have a meal. That being said, there were many issues. 1. We were sat in the night club area rather than the main restaurant. We could not even see our food next to the lights. 2. The hostess was not impressed by us and scoffed at us on our way in. 3. The staff was pushy rushing our orders. 4. The food was passable. Amazing risotto, but the toughest veal I've ever had. We asked for medium rare and with the butter knife provided we couldn't even cut it. 5. The food runner took a plate with 1/4 of our food left on it without asking. 6. We were served a bill with items we did not order. This was corrected eventually. Overall I expected much more in terms of service, professionalism, and food quality. Again, beautiful to look at but that is not enough for me or my partner.
