10/10Absolutely wonderful restaurant. The staff were so very attentive and the ambience was beautiful. The choice and quality of the food was a gourmet's delight, I think I could have chosen most things on the menu. The best dinner we had in Pompeii and will definately go back there when we next visit Pompeii. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

10/10The ambiance is beautiful with gentle lighting, tables spaced far apart and everything decorated with elegance and a personal touch. The food is outstanding, both in its creativity and its flavours. Highlights included soft egg with whipped ricotta and truffle, and pasta with shrimp crudo and lime; but the flavours were much more complex than I can describe. We had a great meal and a great evening.

+1The ambience is serene, calm, clean & welcoming. The welcome by everyone was perfect and set the tone; PERFECTION IN EVERY DETAIL. I didn’t expect a comprehensive a la carte but because we couldn’t choose we both had the tasting menu. The food and service were stunning, accompanied by a gorgeous local wine. Even the dishes and plates showed off the food to delight the senses before reaching the lips. Honestly the best meal I have ever had (& I have had many). Compliments to the chef too. I wish I could have met her to shake her hand. Next time I will. There will definitely be. Next time. Thanks Kalma. You are the gem of Campania.

10/10Exellent almost in every way. Only the location could be better, but that didn’t bother us, since our holiday apartment was close. We had a three course dinner and all dishes were amazing.

A hidden gem! A true oasis with just a few minutes walk away from Pompei center. Lovely staff and even lovelier food. It was cooked with care, attention to detail and rightly before being served. Could not recommend it more. Take the walk!

10/10We were in Pompei for my husband's birthday so we wanted something special. We went to Kalma as it had the best reviews. When you enter the restaurant it is like entering a completely different world (in a good way). The decor, the staff, the service, and of course the food were all just perfect! I would like to expressly mention that the manager was exceptionally attentive (it's been a while since we were looked after so well :)) We loved our evening at Kalma. It truly is an exceptionally good restaurant and I would highly recommend it.

10/10We had a fantastic meal at Kalma. The restaurant is quirky and bohemian and has a fantastic menu. It’s a bit out of the way but the manager arranged a return taxi for us (and taxis are unusually difficult to find in Pompeii). The service was absolutely fantastic. We chose the taster menu which was beautiful; there was only one dish which we didn’t really like but neither of us like mackerel anyway! This was a real find and one of the best meals of our trip; highly recommended.

+6We stayed for 10 days and dined here twice. We are BIG foodies - Michelin addicts in the Uk, I make no apologies. This is the best food and ambience we have had in Pompei (perhaps in many European cities). Our host was superb but we come to eat, and really there was nothing that disappointed. The restaurant is a tad out of the centre - make the effort, you really won’t regret it.

8/10If you’re looking for something different then give this place a go. An eclectic menu allows some real choice and variety against a classic italian food base. Great decor set this place off and super friendly staff ensure you’ll have c a great evening

10/10The only disappointing thing is that the options for this review do not go high enough! Everything was exceptional! If you decide to dine here DO NOT tell the other person(s) about the location! Tell them it's a great restaurant and dining experience if you must but honestly the surprise factor is an experience too. Kalma is a true hidden gem. The staff are absolutely perfect and the food is truly an experience not to be missed. If you are staying close enough it's a must do, if you live close you should be going regularly. Just like the location the food is a true revelation best not described before going.

Amazing service and really good food, vegetarian friendly. Only comment is that it would be nicer with an AC, but they do their best with lots of fans and cold water to help you cool down on the hot days.

+1Beyond amazing... best meal of my life, ever. Service was incredible and made us feel like we were their only priority. Appetizers were fantastic, the menu was explained every step of the way... every question answered and explored. The kindest staff on the planet, made accommodations for us and the dog that followed us from our hotel.... felt like family. Wine list was exceptional and highlighted local fare. Wonderful narrative on places maitre D traveled and how similar experiences inspired the fusion creation of the chef. Bathrooms top notch, beat atmosphere and decor I've ever seen, just an awesome experience. Local limoncello, creative and unique flair on traditional dishes. Exceptional attention to detail, quality high end service. If this isn't 3 michelin stars I don't know what is. Get there experts, you'll never be disappointed. Pasta was out of this world, sushi to boot. Risotto with seafood had the best calamari I've ever tasted, Just incredible!!

10/10We had an amazing time, everyone at this restaurant went above and beyond to make our night special. First, they have a ride service for people who stay in Pompeii! The ambiance is perfect, beautiful decorations and music. They offer a mix of traditional Napoli dishes and chef created dishes, we tried some of each, and everything was amazing! The salmon tartare was a fresh and delicious take on tartare, both the traditional and chef creation pasta dishes that we tried were perfectly cooked and had really great flavor. Our deserts were also amazing, we let them choose for us and got a delicious torta and a raspberry cheesecake. Highly recommend, if you want to have a great meal in Pompeii I think you will be in great hands.

10/10What a find in the back streets of Pompei. It is much larger than we expected, the staff were very attentive and the food was fabulous. I had a lovely seafood dish and my husband enjoyed the pork.
