10/10Exellent almost in every way. Only the location could be better, but that didn’t bother us, since our holiday apartment was close. We had a three course dinner and all dishes were amazing.

10/10A hidden gem! A true oasis with just a few minutes walk away from Pompei center. Lovely staff and even lovelier food. It was cooked with care, attention to detail and rightly before being served. Could not recommend it more. Take the walk!

10/10We were in Pompei for my husband's birthday so we wanted something special. We went to Kalma as it had the best reviews. When you enter the restaurant it is like entering a completely different world (in a good way). The decor, the staff, the service, and of course the food were all just perfect! I would like to expressly mention that the manager was exceptionally attentive (it's been a while since we were looked after so well :)) We loved our evening at Kalma. It truly is an exceptionally good restaurant and I would highly recommend it.

10/10We had a fantastic meal at Kalma. The restaurant is quirky and bohemian and has a fantastic menu. It’s a bit out of the way but the manager arranged a return taxi for us (and taxis are unusually difficult to find in Pompeii). The service was absolutely fantastic. We chose the taster menu which was beautiful; there was only one dish which we didn’t really like but neither of us like mackerel anyway! This was a real find and one of the best meals of our trip; highly recommended.

10/10We stayed for 10 days and dined here twice. We are BIG foodies - Michelin addicts in the Uk, I make no apologies. This is the best food and ambience we have had in Pompei (perhaps in many European cities). Our host was superb but we come to eat, and really there was nothing that disappointed. The restaurant is a tad out of the centre - make the effort, you really won’t regret it.

10/10The only disappointing thing is that the options for this review do not go high enough! Everything was exceptional! If you decide to dine here DO NOT tell the other person(s) about the location! Tell them it's a great restaurant and dining experience if you must but honestly the surprise factor is an experience too. Kalma is a true hidden gem. The staff are absolutely perfect and the food is truly an experience not to be missed. If you are staying close enough it's a must do, if you live close you should be going regularly. Just like the location the food is a true revelation best not described before going.

10/10Amazing service and really good food, vegetarian friendly. Only comment is that it would be nicer with an AC, but they do their best with lots of fans and cold water to help you cool down on the hot days.

10/10Beyond amazing... best meal of my life, ever. Service was incredible and made us feel like we were their only priority. Appetizers were fantastic, the menu was explained every step of the way... every question answered and explored. The kindest staff on the planet, made accommodations for us and the dog that followed us from our hotel.... felt like family. Wine list was exceptional and highlighted local fare. Wonderful narrative on places maitre D traveled and how similar experiences inspired the fusion creation of the chef. Bathrooms top notch, beat atmosphere and decor I've ever seen, just an awesome experience. Local limoncello, creative and unique flair on traditional dishes. Exceptional attention to detail, quality high end service. If this isn't 3 michelin stars I don't know what is. Get there experts, you'll never be disappointed. Pasta was out of this world, sushi to boot. Risotto with seafood had the best calamari I've ever tasted, Just incredible!!

10/10We had an amazing time, everyone at this restaurant went above and beyond to make our night special. First, they have a ride service for people who stay in Pompeii! The ambiance is perfect, beautiful decorations and music. They offer a mix of traditional Napoli dishes and chef created dishes, we tried some of each, and everything was amazing! The salmon tartare was a fresh and delicious take on tartare, both the traditional and chef creation pasta dishes that we tried were perfectly cooked and had really great flavor. Our deserts were also amazing, we let them choose for us and got a delicious torta and a raspberry cheesecake. Highly recommend, if you want to have a great meal in Pompeii I think you will be in great hands.

10/10I saw the reviews on trip advisor so we booked to go here on our short stay in Pompei, from the moment we arrived it exceeded our expectations, the waiter was polite and very attentive explaining everything , service was excellent and the surroundings were beautiful. The food was wonderful and at the end of the night the co owner even gave us a lift home. we had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend them.

10/10Kalma completely EXCEEDED our expectations. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by the most beautiful ambiance that I’ve seen in a restaurant. The decor was very well thought and well put together, however, this only paled in comparison to the manager who had a penchant for providing the highest level of customer service which showed throughout the entire meal. I would HIGHLY recommend traveling off of the beaten path in order to indulge in all of Kalmas modern take on authentic Neapolitan food!

10/10Pleased we found Kalma. We were visiting Pompeii and it was my birthday and we wanted somewhere special. Kalma was the place. Lovely ambience and nicely laid out so everyone has a bit of privacy. Excellent service. Beautifully presented food that tasted even better. Imaginative traditional and fusion ideas from the chef make for interesting menu. Excellent value for money.

10/10We read the excellent reviews for Kalma, but the reviews did not do justice to this gem of a restaurant in Pompei. The ambience was enchanting, the service was impeccable, and the food was superb. We appreciate the professionalism and kindness of the staff and the culinary skill of the chef! If you are looking for the absolute best restaurant in the area - dining at Kalma is it!

Thanks for the review. Since there is hard work behind certain results, i am obliged to clarify. You ordered a sea bass and a cod, two desserts and a bottle of Falangjina i Patrizi white wine. The bill was 74 euros for two people and since he took advantage of the fork discount he paid 64 euros! We also offer all guest a welcome aperitif. I leave the reader to comment! . As far the portions are concerned, just look at our photos to understand that this is a very subjective interpretation. In all thanks for having booked at the Kalma and we wish you that the next experience with the fork will be more fruitful since it was your first experience with us! ????
