The waitress was the star of the evening. The lights were very bright..no ambience. The food was adequate, overpriced. The beef was tough and the fish was watery. The waitress was fantastic.

My husband and I have been traveling throughout the Puglia and neighboring regions for two weeks and discovered this quaint restaurant in Matera. We were amazed at the high quality and use of fresh ingredients for the two pasta dishes we ordered. Just excellent! (I ordered the tagliatelle with truffles that tasted incredible). The desserts were also outstanding. You can see the chef preparing each dish if you sit in the back of the restaurant. Highly recommend it!

What a fabulous meal! Every dish was flavourful & cooked perfectly. We shared an aubergine starter, delicious. For mains we chose the pork & sea bass, both excellent. As it was my birthday, a lovely lemon cake was presented with a lit candle, very kind of them ☺️ We would definitely recommend you try it out.
