We chose this restaurant based on the glowing food reviews, and I'm happy to confirm the kitchen lives up to the hype. However, the service was another story. Our wine arrived at ambient temperature, and it took several requests just to get a sour glass. While the kitchen staff was incredibly efficient, the two waiters on the floor were clearly overwhelmed. This led to long waits for basic attention and a mix-up where a plate of uramaki was brought out instead of the dessert we ordered. To top it off, they refused to accept payment via The Fork, despite their page stating otherwise. This meant I couldn't use my gift card balance for what was a fairly expensive meal. Great flavors, but the logistics need work.

The restaurant is a little hidden and has an intimate and lovely atmosphere, and the staff is friendly. The quality of the food is extraordinary, I recommend ordering the sashimi and lemon uramaki. An opportunity not to be missed for those looking for an experience different from the classic "all you can eat".
