5/10Fish is not fresh. We were informed the fish is only received on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. There is no fresh fish on Mondays in Portugal - it is known by all Portuguese. Salmon was not super fresh, but was okay, tuna tasted so much like fish I could not eat the nigiri. Good reviews are probably from people that ate on days that the fish was fresh. It is a pitty, service is great and lovely environment.

7.5/10The place is really nice and in a good location. The staff are incredibly nice and attentive. Drink are 10/10. My only complaint is that the sushi was not cool enough. It was fresh, but at room temperature.

8.5/10The food and drinks were delicious and fresh. The staff was polite. The air conditioning did not work and it was a bit stuffy in the hall, but overall we were satisfied with the dinner. Thanks

9/10Very well made sushi and good service. However, the rear of the restaurant that has a more interesting decoration shouldn’t be limited to the smoking area, customers that wish to dine in that section should be allowed to do so.

10/10Both sushi and meat were amazing quality! We loved everything we ordered (4 different types of sushi, the picanha, and waygu)! The mojitos were also fantastic. All in all it was a great dinner and we will definitely be returning!

10/10I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the meat dishes were also very good. The atmosphere inside is cozy, and the waitstaff are friendly and helpful. While the prices may be a bit high for some, the quality of the service definitely justifies it. I highly recommend this place.

10/10The restaurant is small but with great ceilings and an open floor plan with few tables. Our coats were taken and hung while we sat down. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the different dishes on the menu. The quality and freshness of the fish was equal to the best Japanese restaurants in San Francisco where I grew up. I would suggest Kendo for a couple, families or business meals. I would feel comfortable eating as well.
