Creative, well presented and good quality Japanese fusion food. Friendly staff. Nice modern surrounding. Only wish that the dishes arrive together for the 3 persons of my table.

The fish is of high quality at KOI, the wine list much better than is usual at most sushi places in Turin. The chefs work very hard. Service is quite attentive and swift. I know authentic Japanese food, having grown up near Japantown in San Francisco. Yes Koi is a FUSION concept, but I think it fails to capture the essence of Japanese simplicity and flavors. Odd, because any Italian chef, or even casual diner could expound at length about purity of ingredients, and how honest preparation must delve deeply into the soul of materia prima, rather than obscure it. Success is attained through lack of artifice, and respect for nature. Less is more. A good fusion displays deep knowledge of the cultures involved, otherwise three letters must be placed before the word: c-o-n

It was our first time back here since the pandemic, so over 2 and a half years. It has been nice to see that the quality of the food continues to be excellent, although, perhaps, the service has been a little lower than the usual standard.

Delicious , inspired , creative … not sure what higher compliment to give . It was an overall amazing dinner with excellent service. The menu is very extensive , and the waiter was super knowledgeable and patient in helping us pick between all of amazing choices . The chocolate ball / desert was the perfect end to the meal .

Gentle, healthy and delicious food. Went for lunch on my mum’s birthday, we loved Osumashi, in a teapot, Ebi Meshi and Mochi. Our lunch was perfect. Friendly staff and great quality food

There isn't much to critique about our experience here (Monday evening, almost completely full restaurant). The waiting staff were very approachable and helpful. Someone mentioned that they were cool, but on the other hand they were also very professional, ie with my wife requesting lactose-free, non-spicy, only-cooked fare, our waiter didn't bat an eyelid and guided us securely to an outstanding experience. To be honest, we would have required her assistance anyway since the menu was rather overwhelming given the variety of options. The food was the highlight, and was of a consistently high standard whether raw or cooked, but I also must mention my dessert (Yuzu-Minto), which was not only extremely tasty but additionally was exquisitely presented, and highly recommended. Had a great time, and will likely return at some point on a future Turin trip.

Unfortunately it was outrageously expensive. 65 Euro per person was twice as much any review indicated I would spend.

Great location, great persons, excellent food. It is a special restaurant where food is very good and where there are dishes with new combinations of tastes (tuna with foie gras, salmon with oil-truffle) that we liked a lot. It is worth the price obviously but obviously it was not just a dinner: it was a taste experience thanks to the research of these combinations made by the chef. We decided to order dishes by our own in a mixed-random order when we understood the kind of food that we could get (i.e. result of researches). Deserts are at the top here, so sweet so light, so great to see. However, Tuna with foie gras is one of the best appetiser ever eat, no kidding, surely I know it is not for all. My compliments, Mr. Koi! Ah, my young daughters appreciated everything and were enthusiast, however they are well trained.

Pretty restaurant, some of the staff was nice although English only one could speak, the food was quite good, although a bit too small quantities for the price. The deserts were surprisingly good.

Honest Fusion-Japanese restuarant + Being welcomed with a Prosecco glass is always appreciated + Being left with a cash discount and a shot of amaro also appreciated + Prices are reasonable and quality is ok - Decor of the resto is a bit "too much"
