7/10The Taste menu at Konnubio proved to be uninspiring. Instead of embarking on a surprising tasting journey of diverse spices and aromas, each course seemed to lack a distinctive and clear flavor profile, resulting in a rather bland palate. With the exception of the ribbon cuttlefish, which was quite excellent and delicious! Unfortunately, each dish was not served at the desired temperature. The service was excellent and very friendly.

8/10Really nice service and nice knowledgeable sommelier. Fine wine list. First courses (basil risotto and pasta in seafood broth) were wonderful as the desert (pistacchio and mango). The main courses (chicken and octopus) need some more flavour and concentration.

The food was good, better than what I had expected from the menu. Great combinations, overal balanced in taste & texture. Desserts were less my taste, too complicated. Service slow at the start, picked up in speed later on. Nice interior. Would visit again.

9.5/10This was a classier restaurant than many trattorias and Osterias in Florence. We had amuse bouche plus lovely variety of breads before our Primi Plati and Secondi Plati. Like many Florentine restaurants, would have liked more choice of the latter, beef dominates of course. Nice complementary sweets at the end.

10/10Fabulous food and presentation. We did a la cart, and were sharing entrees. The kitchen very helpful portioned them on separate plates. Our only suggestion is they should mention the pork belly bun appetizer was a single bun. If we knew that, we would have ordered two!

8/10For a $100 stake I do expect to be perfect and the steak wasn't evenly cooked the outside was fine but the middle was rare. I sent it back in a very polite manner asking the waiter to please heat it a little more. The first response from him was this is medium this is right and he took it back. After a few minutes the stake came back the middle still red and the outside more cooked. The waiter service declined rapidly after this they keep looking at us from inside the kitchen like something weird was going on that part was funny. After this the waiter touched all other tables around ours but took a long time to come back to us. Luckily a very nice lady came to ask how it was going and she could tell the stake was very rare so I asked her to please bring dessert. Please don't get me wrong the food is excellent they have a very large wine selection the desserts were super delicious only let down was the stake and that one waiter attention.

10/10Our server was exceptional! She explained every course (each dish was delicious in its own right) and provided a very welcoming atmosphere throughout our tasting menu dinner. She also highlighted how to best enjoy the bread—soaking up the sauces on each plate— which we didn’t know was a tradition in Italy. The food, the service, the vibes, 10/10!

10/10The entire staff was welcoming and generous, creating a wonderful experience. The Somalia Simone was an absolute gem! Not only is he one of the most handsome men in Florence but he was a stand out amongst a well oiled team and made the entire experience a ten out of ten. This was the very best meal we had in Florence and every dish was fantastic. Eating here was an experience that I will not forget. Thank you.

The restaurant gave us the best T-bone we’ve ever had. From the very beginning appetizers, the chef and the lovely waiter showed us the passion of cooking and serving. The bread were made by the chef himself, every dish was so thoughtful and special that no one would not be proud of serving them to the customers. We were deeply moved by the team. I wish them could grab the first star sooner or later.

6.5/10★★★☆☆ While the service and ambiance were exceptional, the food unfortunately fell short of Michelin expectations. Presentation was beautiful, but the flavors lacked depth and balance. Several dishes felt overworked without delivering the wow factor one would anticipate at this level. A pleasant evening overall, but the cuisine did not justify the reputation or price point.

Absolutely delightful meal! We did the 5 course tasting menu and it was incredible. We went with our 2 kids (ages 12 & 13) and they enjoyed it as much as we did - the space was cool and inviting and the staff were so kind and helpful!

Atmosphere lovely- it was easy to converse Staff were excellent, and spoke excellent English. We rated the food we ordered highly. They also ordered us a cab at the end ( the fastest taxi ride we’ve ever had- whilst the driver was watching tennis on an iPad)

Dishes were not really good. Octopus was very fishy which is not normal. In addition the spiciness of the octopus paired really well with the mashed potatoes, but by itself was was not good. Seems it was a lucky match. Tagliolini didn't taste like any of the ingredients. It looked like a spaghetti I could easily do at tome. I'd love to eat the T-bone steak, but 1.3kg minimum, give me a break. I can't eat that much alone. Cut it in 1/2 and more people could enjoy it. 70euros per kg is a bit steep when all you are doing is putting it to grill. No cooking abilities needed for that. So unless you have a special cow that nobody in the world has, or an amazing recipe I call this a tourist trap.

6/10We celebrated my wife's birthday at Konnubio and would like to start by sincerely thanking the team for kindly adding a candle to the dessert — that thoughtful gesture was very much appreciated. We had the €75 seafood tasting menu. Unfortunately, the dishes were just okay — not bad, but far from the kind of experience you expect from a fine dining restaurant. Nothing really wowed us or stood out, and overall it lacked the excitement or creativity we’ve seen in other tasting menus at this price point. The wine pairings were decent, and the service was fine. The interior felt quite kitschy, and the whole evening was accompanied by old American music from the 50s and 60s, which didn’t match the setting or help create any particular atmosphere. In the end, it’s hard to say why someone should choose this place in a city like Florence. The experience felt overpriced and underwhelming. Overall: 6/10.

10/10A truly outstanding experience. The room is warm, relaxed and intimate. The menu is modern and creative - a welcome departure from traditional meat-heavy Tuscan. Every dish was delightful, carefully crafted with layers of inventive ingredients, and completely delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. At 240 Euros for three, including cocktails and a very good bottle of wine, solid value. Top marks all around!

6.5/10Cute place. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. The ambiance was ok, nothing to complain, nothing to praise. Place was too warm (I wonder how they will fare the summer). Restrooms could do with proper cleaning and also fixing holes in the wall. I would not come back. Just a meh place. The food could do with a bit more taste and a bit better plating. Wine list extensive, yet not a load of special wines. Desert: when asking the waiter to suggest, he said “just check the chef’s suggestions”… frankly, not the attitude expected. Maybe a bit more interest would be called for.
