9.5/10Delicious and meticulously prepared food. The chefs are young and a bit stiff, but very nice. You can feel their drive for perfection. Many creative takes on Japanese dishes and excellent sushi. Waitstaff was pretty curt and only attentive at serving and clearing plates. Spent most of my meal with my water glass and teapot empty and I heard my neighbor at the bar ask many times for refills. Not the Michelin service I'd usually expect. Definitely recommended ipf you are looking for premium Japanese tastes while you are in Barcelona.

10/10The food is so so so good. Its made us surprising in every dishes served. If you are the fan of sashimi, you cant miss this restaurant. Hideki san is very nice to come to say hi and take picture with us.

9.5/10Surprisingly good. We had dined at many Michelin 1 and 2 star Japanese restaurants and we were pleasantly delighted that the restaurants offered for each course both the traditional preparation as well as a more modern creation. The food material is superb, with the eel and oysters even better than those from Japan. The flavors are well balanced. The value for money is probably 3 to 4 times better than New York and Tokyo

10/10Koy Shunka is truly one of a kind. The food was incredible and much more than we were expecting. Each course is presented beautifully and the timing of the service was so impressive. We were never waiting too long for the next course but ended up staying three hours in total. The space is excellent. Every table has a great view of the chefs cooking. It has a warm ambiance.

10/10Koy Shunka is a truly fabulous experience. Super attentive and friendly staff, a cosy ambience and out of this world food. The sake is pretty amazing, too! We went for the larger of the two tasting menus and it was a journey of exquisite flavours and textures, a true example of modern, adventurous Japanese cooking and heads and shoulders above the majority of the formulaic Japanese cuisine we have in Europe.

10/10This restaurant is amazing. We go to Barcelona every year and every time we come back to Koy Shunka. Once again they blew us away with their amazing dishes. Amazing food, every dish is a piece of art and also the staff is really friendly. Highly recommend this place.

10/10It's a great small restaurant with a strong focus on top quality ingredients. The Asian bar = open kitchen is well recommended so that you can observe how the chefs work the products. Also very nice selection of sakes.
