Excellent Visit

The guy who took orders was not even looking around after serving neighboring table. We were served starters and immediately doses were served, so it went cold by the time we had finished starters. Coffee was not hot.

The restaurant is actually one of two restaurants, Anjappar en Krishna Villa, Krishna Villa is vegetarian, it is the restaurant on the left, Anjappar is the restaurant on the right and has excellent Indian food which is not vegetarian. We took the door to the right and did not notice the other door. So we ate at Anjappar. The food was very good, i have eaten a lot of Indian food, even in India, but this was very nice. The chicken 65 is a nice starter. The main course meals they have are well rounded full meals, with choice of mutton, chicken or shrimp. We took the mutton, and it was good. The Dosa is well made as well. All in all, we certainly will come back

Amazing restaurant.. staff was very friendly and spoke kannada and family.. loved the food, was authentic south indian flavour food. definitely recommend the south and north Indian thali..

Service was very poor. We have to wait for an hour to get our food after placing the order. Hopefully they will try to improve their service.

Loved the place! Everything we ordered was authentically delicious. The ghee roast masala dosa and paratha korma were particularly yummy! The ambience is great too with warm and friendly staff. Definitely a great place for authentic Indian cuisine. Highly recommended!

Been a regular at Krishna Vilas, Den Haag but me and my friends were very disappointed with the food served here.

The service was too slow. We understand it could get busy. The order was served after an hour. Wrong order, cold food. Bit upset about the experience.

Food was good. We had ordered south Indian thali. Rasam was bitter and we informed them to which they admitted. They did not provide any substitute for it

Would be appropriate if starters are served first but all of the orders were served at once

We went for dosas but they said they were offering buffet, we made our peace with that. But to our surprise: everything was cold, soup rasam appetizer chapati and sambar. It felt like it was cooked a day before and they have been reheating. It’s the third time - I ordered pick up before and was disappointed then and even now. I gave them three tries, but sorry it is just not worth it.

We were a group of 6 people eating at Krishna Vilas Hoofddorp. The food especially the South Indian food was very good though the service could have been faster. However, the staff were all polite and very nice. Thumbs up to the restaurant. Tip - ordering the South Indian cuisine may be a better choice than the North Indian ones.
