The food was pretty good. Really loved the fries with truffel mayo. The plant based köfte was surprisingly good too. The seafood pasta was nice, but it did miss a little bit of flavor. Service was okay

Excellent food, very pleasant atmosphere, and very friendly waiters. The Matilde Meltdown dessert is a must-try!

The service was great, our waiter was lovely, though the food was unfortunately not great. The bao buns were bland in flavour, the iberico fingers were just okay (not restaurant worthy in our opinion), but the tartare was tasty (though leaving half of the eggshell in the presentation would only work if they make sure there is no egg white left with the egg yolk, but mistakes can happen), the sashimi was great and the Smokey ribeye was not outstanding, but still enjoyable.

The food was good. Not as expected but good. However, it took a long time from the moment we ordered until we were served. The main course was served after 2 hours!

Excellent food at this new restaurant in Rotterdam. Fusion mix menu of Japanese, Indonesisch, and Italian dishes. We had the best sashimi ever! King prawns were good, and the Java soup was excellent too. Bask cheesecake tasty and awesome latte vanilla. Have to come soon.

Kyzo in Rotterdam was a pleasant surprise. The food was nicely flavoured and well presented, with great attention to detail. A lovely extra was the complimentary amuse they served even after dessert, which really added a special touch. Thanks to the discount, the price–quality balance felt very attractive. I’d love to see them develop more strongly in Asian cuisine, as the menu felt a bit limited in choice. We ended up going for the pasta, which was tasty and well-prepared, though the portions were definitely European-sized rather than Asian sharing-style. Overall, Kyzo shows real potential — with a broader offer and stronger Asian focus, it could become a standout spot in Rotterdam 🤌✨

Staff is extremely nice and helpful. They made sure that we had a great time. Ambience is also nice with the modern decoration & vibe of the restaurant. There are a lot of different options in the menu from sushi to ribeye steak. We mainly ordered seafood and the taste was not as well as another restaurant who specializes in seafood probably, but everything was still above average. Prices are reasonable. I can recommend here to a large group due to extensive menu and availability of large indoor and outdoor areas.

Excellent service, the waitress was sweet and very professional, the location was new, beautiful, and full of atmosphere, with great attention to detail. We will definitely come back :)

The service was great and very customer oriented. The food was fresh with authentic taste. The vegan Java en the regular Java soup was delicious. Ambiance was very nice. Will definitely go back and can't wait to taste their own original cocktails.

Serves were polite and friendly and a nice restaurant and aesthetic, unfortunately the food didn’t live up to expectation and waiting times were long considering there was only 4 tables when we came in. Also if you’re going to sell “A5” Steak you should consider showing the customer first as someone who’s had both Wagyu and Kobe in the past the steak served was no better than a normal Filet.

Nice lunch out on the terrace with friends. all the dishes were nice and fresh and the service friendly. and the 30% Fork offer was icing on the cake 🎂

The ambiance is stylish yet comfortable, and the food presentation was great. However, the menu felt inconsistent—some mains come with regular sides (like codfish or octopus), while others, like the chicken, arrive with just mushrooms. There’s no option to order sides separately, which makes it hard to complete a meal without doubling up on dishes. The vegetarian options sounded the most appealing and well-rounded. Service was friendly, but surprisingly slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Overall, the place has potential, but a more consistent menu and quicker service would really elevate the experience.

+2Food was excellent! Ambience and service were great! Loved the exquisite taste of the butter that goes along with the bread. The crunchy ink is sure one we'll be ordering again. The shortribs ... were to die for. The tempura tiger prawns looked sooo darn amazing... All in all, it was a great experience.
