10/10L'Acerba Osteria Dinamica is a fantastic restaurant. On our recent trip to Sicily it was the best meal that we had. The seafood was fresh and fabulous. Recipes unique and innovative. The staff was delightful. Wine was outstanding. And the value was unmatched. It is highly recommended!

8/10This informal restaurant was highlighted in NY Times! 36 hours in Palermo. Good, but erratic. I would not rush back. Good fried artichoke appetizer with pear jam, middling pasta dish with cauliflower, and a tasty, but small grilled white fish of the day. White wine by the glass was not very good and the beer never came. (The restaurant did get busy suddenly). The bill of about 75 euros for lunch seemed too high for what we had

10/10My parents were beyond happy that I found this gem - the food was spectacular. We had the fried artichokes to start. For mains, grilled squid, carbonara and sardine pasta. We savoured every bite. The tiramisu had me near tears so we ordered another. Price was very fair for the quality. The service was very attentive and kind. Thank you!

10/10The food here is next level good . The grilled squid with a green onion sauce was a melt in your mouth taste sensation. Squid perfectly cooked. My wife had the Spaghetti Vongole. Lots of big juicy clams with a perfectly executed cauliflower sauce reduction. Superb! The semi freddo dessert with a masala sauce ticked all the boxes. Great combination of sweet and savoury tastes in every mouthful. Do yourself a favour and try this place. It’s a little way off the main tourist area in a beautiful little piazza. You will not be disappointed.

8.5/10Beautiful fresh fish. Perfect fried baccala. Pasta was a bit muddled and would have been better with less sauce and ingredients. But over all We loved this restaurant. Would recommend it.

10/10This was such a fantastic meal. The service was excellent - our waiter was very patient, obliging and new how to handle a big group of raucous merry makers. The atmosphere and setting was very special yet unpretentious and cosy. All the food was delicious and a fair price. We would all happily return to try something else from the menu. The owner was hot AF.

10/10Lovely, welcoming staff create a great atmosphere. The setting is beautiful in a lovely patio. The special of the day shrimp pasta was stupendous. The fish courses too used top quality produce. Highly recommended.

6.5/10Food was delicious and incentive, with a beautiful patio. That said, service was severely lacking for 3 reasons: 1) It took almost 30 minutes to place our order, and only after we followed up twice with the host (it was unclear who our waiter was until the second follow-up). We understand the restaurant was busy, but were aggravated to see our waiter chatting with a table who arrived after us instead of taking our order. Because of this, our order was severely delayed, with our mains arriving close to 1.5 hours after being seated 2) Our waiter ended up forgetting our drink order. Unfortunately, he seemed to be intentionally avoiding us and we were forced to follow up with someone else again. In the end, our drinks arrived well after our appetizers 3) When our food finally arrived, our waiter made a point of slowly stating that our mains would follow our appetizers "one step at a time", as if we'd never been to a restaurant before. As non-white, non-Italian speaking visitors, this felt deeply condescending - it seems unlikely that this would have been a point of clarification for locals or other visitors

8.5/10We ordered three dishes and asked them if they could bring them one at a time, so we could share. “We’ll bring the first two together, ok?” Ummm. And then they brought the third before we finished the second. Also, the black olives in the salad were canned, not fresh. Canned black olives! Cool place, though.
